Very nice. I like it. Not to grainy, just enough foam.
I love it.

Goes Far without Flaking, But Rinse with Rigor
This was my first experience with a cleansing powder (I usually use gels or creams).Form Factor: The face cleansers I typically use come in tubes with screw off tops. To wash your face, you have to unscrew the top, put it down, squeeze product into your hand and then you are faced with the quandary -- try to put the cap back on the tube when your hands are full of soap, or just put the tube down, still open, and risk your product oozing out onto your counter top. There are no such problems with this product. It comes in a sort of shaker bottle, with a sliding top. Simply slide it open, shake a sprinkle of powder in your hand and slide it shut. No muss, no fuss. Very neat and easy to use, and the container stays clean.Cleansing ability: I have sensitive skin, and this brand claims to be for sensitive skin. When mixed with a bit of water, the power turns soapy and gently exfoliates without causing redness or irritation. The smell and feel are both very mild. It rinses off fairly easily and leaves skin smooth. I usually use a exfoliating scrub several times a week. After using the Wildflowers Cleansing Powder, I found that I barely needed to use the scrub even once a week anymore. It renews my skin without harshness and leaves it looking fresh, rather than flakey. One bit of advice for those with DRY skin: If you (like myself) have dry skin, it is very important to rinse VERY thoroughly. If you leave the product on your skin, it will feel dry/tight. You can completely avoid this by rinsing well. If your skin if very dry, I would also suggest putting moisturizer on immediately after using.Final notes: A little goes a long way, so despite the expense, the product will last for a long time. Ease of use is great. I have come to prefer it to my former cleansing gels and creams. [Reviewed by spouse @annwendy]

Wildflowers Gentle Facial Cleansing Powder
The directions state to wet face and hands, add a small amount of powder (a nickel size was about right) to the palm of one hand/ I used fingers to rub the powder and water together to activate it into a foamy cleaner. I added a few extra drops of water until a creamy consistency formed. I thoroughly washed my face and neck and felt completely clean although also slightly dry. I moisturized after using the product and my skin looked and felt great. The other adult in the household was similarly impressed. After using the product for a few weeks my routine is to use it a couple of times a week β daily is a bit too much, too drying. But I am pleased with the results. My only quibble is that the container is not sealed when it arrives, so although I appreciate the ease of sliding open the cap to dispense the powder it can and did shift open and some product was lost during transport.Because of the powder format it should be sprinkled in the hand well away from the face to avoid accidentally inhaling the talc, and water should be promptly mixed in to form the foamy paste. And, although scented, it was light, reasonably generic rather than perfumey and not at all long-lasting. It is suitable for either a man or woman. I have never used a cleansing powder before but found the experience very pleasant and effective.

I Actually Have a Problem With The Packaging
This is an interesting product that is pretty cool, and I don't have any problem with the cleansing powder per se, however I wouldn't buy this for two reasons.First, the shipping folks haven't figured out yet how to ship it. As it is the top slide opens and the white powder escapes and goes everywhere as it is very fine. I'm going to write and give my suggestion that they tape the top shut --like they now do for shampoos and lotions -- and I'm sure this small problem will be fixed in no time. But even when they fix it the second problem will still keep me from purchasing this product. Call me paranoid or just an overly cautious old lady but I really dislike that there is no tamper proof anything to this product. Not a wrapper over the top, nor a peal-off like your get on many products --think mustard and many lotions. Now I can understand why using one of those peal-off seals can't be an answer. The top, you see, slides to the side and it is an integral piece of the main body. So that won't work as with lotions, shampoos and ketchup, you have a lid you can take off to remove the safety seal, and then reseat. Not an option here.BUT I don't understand why they don't have one of those clear wrappers on the container. Maybe one that would do double duty and keep the top closed until you remove it.In any case, I liked the product otherwise. I didn't feel any residue after nor was it particularly harsh. Though I should say that with my old mom's skin I wash very lightly and wouldn't use this every night. [Special Note: You certainly couldn't take this with you traveling unless you put the powder into another container.]
