These are great quality alkaline LR44 cells. The voltage out of the packet is an impressive 1.62V. Since these are alkaline, they can supply more power than the SR44 type (which uses silver oxide instead of manganese dioxide). The expensive silver oxide ones may keep their voltage higher for longer, which is great for devices that only use a tiny amount of power, like little thermometers, digital callipers etc. However, if your device uses significant power, such as mini torches, LED candles, laser pointers etc. then you need to use alkaline LR44 cells instead. These cells have one of the lowest internal resistance (therefore higher power capability) of all the brands I've tested, including expensive ones like Duracell etc. They consistently measure around 5 ohms per cell which is on the low end of the spectrum. Many brands have much higher resistance, closer to 10 ohms or more. Considering the price of these cells, they are an absolute bargain for high drain applications and I'm sure I will be buying more in future.
