Works well, zero setup issues, no pairing or other chores to make them work. In its loudest setting, even grandma will hear the bell. I'll be interested in how long the little 12V battery (included) in the transmitter will last between changing. Also curious how it will weather the, uh, weather. Range seems good. One of the ringers is under a table on the floor in a basement and it rings every time. Mounting the TX/button was a breeze even for a non-handyman like me.**Update** After a couple of weeks, the button portion of the assembly that goes outside the door fell out. It uses tabs and a pressure fit so weather and sun causes the plastic to expand/contract. Very annoying. I put tape on the tabs to make the fit more positive but I fear I'll be doing this every few months. Should be a more positive fit design. Minus 2 stars for this design defect.After 2 months, the supplied battery went bad. Oops, it's not the battery--the doorbell button is now just inconsistent. Visitors complain they pressed the button and no ring. If you really smash the button it will ring. What a waste of time!

Got my AVANTEK this morning and thanks to the Koseyface instructional video, I was able to install it myself without a problem. I agree that a back button for selecting tunes would be nice, but it's no big deal. I also notice that it says to install the button where there is no "continuous sunlight". This was a bit strange. I have a covered entrance, but still get a good bit of continuous morning sunlight, so because of that statement, I mounted the button on the door Itself, because it was a tad bit more shaded than the adjacent brick wall where my previous doorbell had been mounted. Hopefully I'll get good service from this product.

It works really well. I have a two-story house, so I appreciate having one plugged in upstairs and one downstairs. I attached the door bell, for now, with just the 3m tape that was provided. It also came with basic screws, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to permanently attached it, just yet. The volume control and music buttons are on the plug ins. I would have given this a 5 star review, but the chime options are pretty terrible, unless you get really excited about 8-bit tunes (especially Christmas ones). There are lots to choose from, but really none I really like. The other down side, is that there are so many tones to choose from and you have to go through ALL of them to get back to the one you want. On the plus side, you can choose different chimes for the separate units.

Tested about 30 times with everything where it was going to be installed. Worked. Oscillators on the two "base" units weren't the same frequency so the same "song" played by both units at the same time sounded awful (dissonant - not the same key), after three days both base units stopped responding to the button. Checked button, battery good, blue LED between the circuit boards would illuminate. Unplugged base units to return them. Plugged back in after about an hour and one would respond. The other was dead. Looking over the circuit board in the transmitter, numerous cold solder joints and quality looked awful. Many reviews said these were loud. They're not. They're medium loud at best. And most of the "songs" are simply obnoxious. Returned these. Probably just going to put in a proper doorbell with a real metal bell.

This doorbell works very well. It's great that the bell units plug into the well and are always on. The bell units could sound more clear in tone. Please note, to mount the button on the porch wall, make sure all the foam cutouts are removed so that the unit sticks securely to the wall mount. I couldn't figure out why my unit kept falling off the wall. Then I noticed that the foam cutouts where creating a buffer and making for a very loose seal. But all in all, this is a good looking,functional unit.

PROS:- It has very nice songs.- Wide variety of tunes.- Packaging and product comes in really good condition.- You can adjust the volume settings.CONS:- If you are sensitive to high pitch sounds, this product might not be right for you, as it does emit such sounds thus bothering your hearing, regardless of sound level setting.

I got this and after a few mins of looking over all the tones and the range it has i am quite happy the product works great superb sound and flash of blue led so even when my surround sound going i and tell someone rang the door bell i heard some people complain about how hard the battery port was to open and reclose i found it simple has a little grove u put a flat head screwdriver in and twist lightly and it opens easy great product a must have

I am often in my workshop and needed a doorbell that could sound at two different locations so this fit the bill perfectly. The only reason I do not put 5 stars is because there is really only two normal type doorbell sounds and at that low quality. All the rest are melodies that I could not see using as a doorbell, for example "Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer", "Samples from the Nutcracker", and "Happy Birthday"
