If your barrels are in a conspicuous spot and are seen every time you exit the house, the Barrel Bag is a good dress-up item to enhance the look, but at the same time providing protection - if and when it becomes necessary to use the water in the barrels. My two barrels are not rainwater barrels, but 55 gallon blue barrels used for water storage in the event of an emergency. In that regard, these bags are worthy covers: durable, heavy duty, and pleasant to look at.

Did not work
Used this product to cover my 55gallon metal drum barrel I converted in to a smoker. Purchased the cover to repel water and keep my drum from rusting when left outside in the rain. The rain went right through this, my smoker is full of rust now. Description was deciving and the product did not work for what it was intended.

Won't Fit Whiskey Barrel
I couldn't tell from the description, reviews or the measurements weather this would fit whiskey barrels... It doesn't. They are too wide in the middle and this study material does not budge.Keep in mind that if you're not sure if this Barrel cover will work for you, you're already paying for shipping on this product and if you return it you have to pay for the shipping back, which ended up being $15 as the cheapest option.
