20” Leather Overnight Weekend Duffle Travel Cabin Holdall Gym Sport Luggage

I received this twenty-inch "Weekend Duffle" today but will probably send it back. Although the product photo was taken from a highly flattering angle, this is essentially a gym- or carryon duffle, and its 20-inch width is a fully loaded "take" probably filled to the max with rectangular cargo. Given its size and the limitations that stem from that, I would not consider it large enough for brief road trips. The leather looks good enough and smells good enough, but it's clearly Chinese simulating Moroccan and not quite up to the standards (optics or performance) of Italian leather. I did not expect a world-class imposter, but since I paid $66 for it and not today's prices in the high forties, it's not a good value for me. As others have said, it's lined with a kind of foam that won't stand up to damp gym clothes (not for long, anyway), and inside of an airline overhead bin, I'm not sure how supple the leather is -- it might get scratched or bent.I have its big brother due in tomorrow -- 24 inches -- Readers, please wish me luck! I think the bigger bag will be more suitable for my purposes and hope it is at least as well made as this one. My foolishness was in striving for the chic look of a matched set at a non-matched-set price. I won't do that again.

Arrived quick, but upon opening the liner that seems to be glued to the leather was unglued and sticky.... the the leather is nice but why they glued it to the inner leather instead of sewing it; not sure.... I planned on using it for overnight travel, etc.... but I don't want the sticky glue stuff all over my clothes....

It's smaller than I thought, my husband can only get one suit and pair of shoes as well as his dopp kit bag in it. Which isn't an issue since my husband is usually only away for one night at a time for work so it works for those business trips!

I never write reviews and I had to write this one! I ordered 2 of these bags. I Didn’t unwrap one of the packaged bags and just wrapped as a gift and now I am truly embarrassed! The bag is nothing like the picture. Smaller. Different strap. Cheap looking. I mean the picture of this bag is a scam compared to what i received The Second bag is just a completely wrong item.

Do not buy this bag. I purchased for my son. The strings were unraving when I opened the box. Very cheaply made. The long straps cannot be removed. You have to buckle it on top of shoulder. Totally disappointed, will send back. Not worth the money. One star because it was delivered timely. It has a terrible smell!!!

Well made, I like this bag. People complain about the smell. Don't buy leather rustic, buy hard polished leather. I like rustic leather. The heavy smell dissipated in a few days. I pack the bag with brown packing paper, like a store display. Leave it out for a few days. Also makes the bag easy to treat with leather honey. Which protects the leather. The bag still has a slight leather smell. Which is why I purchased rustic leather. I purchased a rustic leather brief case and messinger bag for the same reason.

The quality of this bag is lower than I expected. The leather is low grade and not particularly attractive, moreover the construction simply doesn't look like it will survive the rigors of travel.

Just the right size and it's beautiful.

The bag is actually 20 x 9 x 8 inches. The buckle for the outside side pocket is too low, so when the pocket is too full you can't close it. The buckle for the shoulder strap is oddly placed so that it sits close to your shoulder. Some reviewers are saying the bag smells. I didn't have that problem. The leather is a light color. But, it's a handsome rustic bag and I like it. I travel quite a bit, so this will be nice as a carry-on and/or weekend bag.

Nice bag, good quality Leather, well put together. However the dimensions listed are 20X9X9 but are actually 20X9X8. Not that big of a deal, but does make it a bit small to be used as an overnight bag and to small for a weekend bag. I paid the extra $13 for express delivery.(3-5 business days) For some reason delivery was 4 days late. All in all I am satisfied with the purchase, although if I were to purchase another, I'd go with the 24" instead.

The quality of the leather and the lining inside was really good, and it definitely smelled brand new. The only thing is that the buckles and zippers appeared to be a bit rusty. I'm not sure if this was just the style or not but I found it a bit odd.
