Potty Spotter (Silver)

I was looking forward to getting this because I've seen dealing with behavioral issues in a cat for sometime now. Unfortunately, my cat had urinated on a brand new carpet the same day I received it. My reason for getting this was to help identify accidents around the house but used this opportunity of new soiling to test the product. The only reason I knew of this spot was because white sock happened to take the brunt of the mess, otherwise I would have been crawling around on my hands and knees trying to identify the newest location to be ruined by my cat. This light did not work at all! I tried it in pitch black lighting as well as with a lit was diffuser at the opposite end of my large room, either way useless! It identified lint for me but not any pet incidents like it advertised. I am not impressed and will be sending this back.

It does wanders tracking pet pee and also other bacteria that glows under black light. You don't need the room to be fully dark for this to work.

Works well. But it is disgusting how much you do find. So make sure you really want to know!

Waste of money, not for a CSI person to use will fail everytime.

Doesn't work with my dogs urine.

Predict didn't work after two sets of new batteries. Luckily it was cheap and I just threw it in the trash. Don't waste your money.

As soon as it got dark, I ripped open my potty spotter and ran to the bathroom expecting a wondrous disco to appear before my eyes. With 2 boys, a husband, and a litter box in there surely it was a Mecca for all the nastiness in the world. I was disappointed to only find one small smear. I cleaned that up and thought surely it was defective, so I proceeded through my house. I was convinced it did not work when I came to our old storage room in the basement. My princess of a dog doesn't think she needs to go outside if it is cold or raining, and this is apparently where she went. Sneaky brat. These spots were after having used a spotbot, and shampooing the carpet. They were certainly not fresh because she hasn't been allowed down there for a while. Thanks, spotty potty! Now I am spending the rest of my night cleaning up old dog pee. You work awesomely!
