I just bougth not one but 3 cameras, and none of them works. I've followed the instructions step by step, and doesn't work. It is very sad. I don't understand how AMAZON let this kind of products sell, with the majority of "verified purchasers" with negative reviews.Ok, after this review, almost immediately, they emailed me with further instructions. Again, not too clear, but.. After you put your wifi information, you have to reset the camera pressing the button until the camera say something like reset to default settings, then you still have to wait until it say, something like you can start with the configuration, then it start to work very good.The four stars is just because of this issue (very uncomfortable). But it is all as advertised.Thank you for the immediate support! Now I am very happy. Well here again, next day. I've tried to change passwords in general, and now I even can't get inside the software. Software isn't working properly. Indeed there is some kind of problem with this item in general.. Hello, it is me again, some days later. As I said before, the cameras are good, it seems the software is the problem, it is a very tricky software, but at last I actually could make it work. But it is a matter of patience and trying several times in some cases. My system is working now as it should be.. One thing I noticed is when there is a power failure you have to do everything again, so if you don't want to mess again with configuration issues put a backup to the system..I'll give 5 stars but for the tricky software I'll give it finally a 3 star, because it is not pleaseant dealing with those issues..August 22 2016, the cameras go offline very often, requiring the programing work very frequently, and it has become another of my weekly problems, they are starting to be useless..October 16, Well, in deed, to much problems trying to use the "cameras, software, etc.." They are not relyable for security purposes, it works for a placebo cameras. They need constant reprograming, if you change password on cameras, works for some hours or days, but then you have to reprogram because it gets out the network for some reason.Not for security purposes, just placebo, more like toy cameras, not very usefull at all.November 13, still placebo cams, several times I've tried to watch them (3) on the smartphone, but, I'm not able to see the three of them, sometimes just one, sometimes two, but never the three of them. I've tried to record, but as they go offline very often, not even the recording is usefull.This cameras and their software, are in deed a waste of money. Lots of time as you can see, and they still not work, nor the software. Terrible.

I have been using video cameras for over forty years and this IP- wireless camera actually surprised me with how good the video was at 720P. I am looking at the camera at night right now and the night vision is comparable to the 1080P price cameras- No joke here for the price! Now for the cons:The day/night camera change over causes a loud noise on both ends- this is typical at light to dark times and if a car headlight is bright enough also.Connecting to the wi fi was a challenge to a computer geek here.......took me over one hour because I tried to automate the hook up by sound which never worked so I did it manually and it was up and running fast.Connection is pretty dependable with me loosing connection about every one and half hours and lasting at times to four hours of steady camera viewing. To restart the camera was extremely simple and just one tap on the first screen and reconnection was within a few seconds!Sound- EXCELLENT both ways! There is a slight delay in video/sound of approximately three seconds at times. Wish it was optioned in black though:)Overall, for the price this is an A product.UPDATE : the camera over heated and stopped power up. It was great while it worked.

I like the camera. It works fine but the instructions need to be rewritten to make them easier to use. The app needs to be made for androids so that we would feel safe to download them on google. I did not feel comfortable getting a warning on my computer going to the website to download the app. It took me way too long to install and to get this too work. I finally did with much frustration. Way too quirky and hard to install for me. I did not give up and it did finally work. But the price is good and I guess that is to be expected. It works on my mobile device. I have not found the alarm feature to work very well when I tested it. I do love being able to monitor my front and back entrances of my home no matter where I am. This is worth the purchase.
