This is a very cool looking light fixture. It looks great and gives a very even light. The build quality is very good. I was able to install it in about 10 minutes. I ordered the 24" model. The power supply is attached to the back of the mounting plate. It has the normal 120v supply lines. If you want to use a dimmer for this light you have to use a "low voltage" dimmer. There are separate wires behind the mounting plate for the low voltage dimmer option. These would have to be extended to the dimmer switch. The instructions don't elaborate on what type of a "low voltage" dimmer it requires, but I would guess that a lighting supply house would know. One thing I noticed is there is a very short, maybe 1/2 second delay when you flip the wall switch and when the light turns on (not a big deal).

ILLIMINATION! The lights in our master condo bath left much to be desired. We have 10 foot ceilings and they were almost near the top. Who wants to change a bulb at that height?Our electrician installed these and they make a huge difference. Clean and sleek in design, they emit great true color light.We are so pleased.

We love it--puts out a lot of light, and looks cool. We are going to put a dimmer on it, since it's in a small powder room, and we may not always want so much light. The décor in the powder room is very modern, and the light reflects that, no pun intended.

I bought three fixtures to mount on a large wall-to-wall mirror in a medium sized bathroom. They look great and provide good light, but I wish the fixtures let some light shine upward. A white film on the glass piece aims all of the light downward. This downward lighting creates a softer mood than many bathroom fixtures. However, I find that it makes applying makeup a bit difficult, as there is not a lot of light available for viewing the sides of my face.As the first reviewer mentioned, there is a very slight pause after you press the wall switch before the light comes on. However, it is such a short pause it does not bother me. When does bother me is that the lights make a single loud click about 30 seconds after you turn them on and 30 seconds after you turn them off. My electrician has not been able to figure out what the problem is. I plan to contact the mfgr. to see if they know.
