Almost perfect for my VR needs
I had originally picked up the View Master VR goggles ( View-Master Virtual Reality Starter Pack ) to see how the still-young world of budget VR looks. That other pair of goggles has its own problems (review to come), but it showed me that there's enough cool content out there right now (if you have the right phone) to make it worth investing in a better pair.Enter this nifty product. The head straps are nicely adjustable providing a secure but comfortable fit so the goggles won't slide around when you move your head. The straps are just stretchy enough to allow for temporarily pulling the mask off your face a small amount if needed (more on that in a sec). The headphones sound great and they fit very comfortably over my ears. I like the fact that the goggles are designed to allow the audio cable to hang out the side if needed if you have a larger phone (which the Nexus 6P definitely is).The adjustable focus really puts this ahead of some other headsets. My eyes aren't the greatest but once the phone is in place properly (which is done very easily with the guides in the goggles) I've been able to achieve crystal clear images even for my vision. The cushioning on the goggles is very comfortable but also very warm. This leads to why this is a four-star review rather than a five. They have a tendency to fog up inside like if you were wearing fitted safety goggles. A quick pull of the mask away from the face for a few seconds and it clears up, but on warmer days it could fog up again in under a minute. Perhaps some form of ventilation to allow at least a little bit of air to flow inside would help keep these clear.I did feel silly after having owned these for a month to find out there's clear protectors over the lenses on the side next to your eyes. I peeled those off and the good image got to be almost perfect.I don't get to use the "button" a lot since most of the VR apps I use don't need it, but on the ones that do I've had no problem with responsiveness.I am very happy with these goggles and for an intro-level setup with a decent phone it's a great to see what VR could be very soon.

VR - Very Reasonable
This is the only VR Google cardboard type headset I own, so I have nothing else to compare it to as far as phone-VR headsets are concerned. That said, I am happy with my purchase though there are a few things I dislike. I found the front end to be a bit top heavy and often my nose will feel crushed, making it difficult to breathe while wearing. I always wind up with those red indentations in the top of my nose when I take this off, like a pair of reading glasses that are too tight. Also, the on-board speakers only deliver a good sound when they're pressed down against your ears using your hands, making games that use a controller less enjoyable, otherwise it all sounds distant and too much outside noise interferes with your gaming experience. I've semi-rectified this by taking the straps around the sides of my head and stretching them down and around the speakers, making them tighter against my ear but also making the helmet that much more uncomfortable. I purchased these full price back on June 17, 2016 and since then I have played a good amount of little free VR games, all of which were relatively short, so I can assume that wearing this for longer periods of time, such as watching a full length movie, would be unpleasant, though I suppose this also depends upon the head size of the user. Also I will mention that I am using this with an LG V10 cell phone, which is on the large side as far as cell phones go but still fits nicely in the helmet once I remove my phone from it's protective cover every time. All in all this is a nice inexpensive way to get your feet wet in the VR realm but in no way (nor is it meant to) compares to the experience you will find in a Vive or Oculus. Finally I will mention, though it isn't really important, that the pair I received did not say 'Unity' on the top white circle; mine was just plain white. I've added an image of mine so you can get a peek at the inside and also the audio cord which you'll be plugging into your phone.

First impressions
First impressions are it's a good headset. I like the adjustments and the build quality.I ended up removing the speakers. They don't work if you're using the headset as a streaming front-end from a PC.But overall, and so far, with a few mods I'm happy with this product.

Great Vr for the price
Great Vr for the price I wont judge this Vr to harsh because I only paid $36 for it. But for $36 the quality is good doesn't feel like it will break on you. The headphones sound great wish they can come off because i have higher quality headphones but they are loud and get the job done, without having to carry anything but your phone and the headset. Now for info your might want to know.FOV (I'm using a Nexus 6p without a case) and its wide no black bars that's my biggest problems finding a perfect headset this is it. You do see you ring around the ear cup but you will get over it in a matter of secs.Resolution depends on your phone, my Nexus 6p is 4k so the quality is awesome and its 5.7in big.Headphones: there awesome and are can get loud depending on your phones DAC.Glasses: I wont fit inside but you can adjust the vision so no problemBuilt: I'll give it a 8/10 because its plastic of course but very light feeling and feels solid.Google Cardboard app: its works with google cardboard YAY. Its a QR code in the manual to scan and your good to go.Remote: you dont need one the button on the unite works, but if you play games I recommend you get one some games your need a controller or remote, I only watch movies on this.I'll be using this until Googles Daydream release, but its worth the money. I did research on this and couldnt find info on it so i wrote this review to help others. It is a BoboVr Z4 even it doesnt say it, when I scanned it google cardboard it registered as boboVr Z4If you have any questions feel free to ask me. Thanks happy shopping
