Classic Safari Pocket-Size Pistol Cleaning Kit (7 Pieces)

It's a decent pistol cleaner for the money, but there's no place to keep any cleaning patches or a place for a small bottle of oil. But if you're just going to the range it's small enough for a small range bag, towel and patches. But don't cheap out on the oil bottle or you'll have a big mess at the range. "How Embarrassing ". You get what you pay for, but in this case you get a good deal.

Not a bad little kit for quick & dirty pistol cleaning... BUT... the Slotted Tip did not fit the rod at all (smaller threads)! Useless, totally non-standard slotted tip! Why bother sending it with the kit??? (what numbskull did that?)The brushes did fit the rod, but the rod and handle do not accept standard 8/32 Male Threads. So, I have no way of replacing the slotted tip, which is important for a good clean, and no way to use standard accessories,So in summary: 1) the slotted tip is useless... does not have the required screw pitch to work with the kit. 2) uses non-standard threads.If you can get by without the slotted tip, and just want it for emergency use... it is handy and the price is right. That is the only reason it got two stars.

Great little kit, very compact and has all the right tools. Pit falls - You have to use all the extension to work and if you have a short pistol barrel it’s a bit cumbersome. Also the housing is plastic and the end just pops on, not very secure.

The kit has a good selection of tools. Everything seems to be well made.

Its ok i thought the end cap was threaded it is not and pops off to easily

It would be better if the rod end attachments used the more standard male threads so you could use attachments from other vendors.

Travel allot makes it very easy to carry this in my range bag and clean my 9mm on the go
