Halo Ocean of Vegan Dry Dog Food, 4-Pound Bag

We had used the ocean flavor before you changed the packaging and I don’t know if you’ve done away with the ocean flavor because I can’t find it on Amazon anymore and this one doesn’t actually have a flavor that I can see mentioned. But she loved the ocean flavor and liked a lot the non-ocean flavor. So I was worried of what kind of flavor this one was going to have and whether she would like it or not. She’s not a big kibble eater, she mainly gets her canned food for dinner and she’ll nibble a little bit when she first wakes up of the kibble but when I put this in her bowl mid-day, just to see whether she was gonna like it or not, I was very surprised that she took one sniff and immediately started chowing down! For me personally, I was impressed in the richer coloring. I also like that the bites are a little bit smaller because my Chihuahua only weighs 8 1/2 pounds and she’s a senior with teeth missing so small bites are very crucial to her being able to eat kibble. She didn’t have any trouble chewing it (I could hear it crunching), and she ate quite a bit for her. So I’m very pleased and will definitely continue to order this. I have it on the subscribe and save now.The only thing I’m not happy about, and I’m sure I’m not alone, is that now the bag is a 1/2 pound less than it used to be and the price is relatively the same if not a little bit more than the 4 pound bag of the ocean flavor. I know times are tough but I wish you would go back to the 4 pounds and keep it the same price. But it’s definitely a four-star vegan dog food! Because even the best is not good enough if they won’t eat it. 😉

I wanted to switch my girls to a plant based diet to try it out. One of my girls has allergies and skin get rashes easily. This works great for them- they both gobble it up. The smell is a bit strong when you open it up but you get use to it. My only complaint is the size I get is out of stock often. (Medium sized bag)

My boys are use to only eating human food. They eat very very very little red meat and have been transitioning to eating a mostly vegetarian diet with some fish and chicken less frequently so I thought I would give this food a try and i am so happy I did because they absolutely LOVE it!

I have a 10yr Boston terrier, sensitive stomach and skin. She loves the food, and her skin looking great and her gases dont stink like before. We are very happy to have switched.

Our dog loves this. I mix the two plant based flavors. And it's healthier for her too. They are not going to recall a product like this due to plastic or bacteria. All plant based. I do suggest incorporating this into your animal companions food and then slowly get them off of the animal bases food. Their health is important. Dogs thrive on a plant based food. I think it's worth every penny for her health.

I’ve tried different vegan dogs food without success but halo my dogs absolutely love. I’m so happy with it. A little pricy but my babies are worth every penny

My vegan chihuahua terrier loves this food compared to the other vegan dog food out there, and it’s healthy for him too. I like to dress it up with cooked veggies or rice.

My boston terrier is allergic to many things, and being on a vegan diet can make it hard to find food for him. He absolutely LOVES the "oceany" flavor of this food, its definitely a great food that has all the necessary nutrients with a flavor he enjoys.
