nice for beginners.
Great video for beginners. Some of the moves can be translated for MMA movements. Nice variation from your regular kettle bell work out.

excellent, but u cannot access the "workout" section conveniently
they need to edit the dvd root directory/ dvd menu: 1 star less cuz u cannot get to the "workout" section fast enuf so it lacks convenience for regular use. it also advises you, take kettlebell safety lessons before doing these.kettlebells is offered at my gym and i agree, you need to start with light weights n get proper handling n proper form first. (no lighter or heavier than 10lbs if u have done judo or jujitsu regularly in da past).it is a very good unique mma geared kettlebell dvd, but u have to hit fast forward 10 million times before u can even begin your workout. i understand we need to hear about safety, but if i am using this dvd more than once to workout to, it's annoying to have to fast forward past it, n the pre-instructions. Also, they call "shrimping" snaking, and judo's "sankaku jime" triangle choke.

New and challenging workout
Workout is fun and goes fast with new routines. I was looking for some new kettlebell workouts and this one has some nice added moves. Definitely a good purchase even if you are not into mixed martial arts. There are some basic moves for Jiu Jitsu that make the workout fun and fast. Good background music. Author gives excellent demonstrations of how to do the moves in an instructional section. Yes they some different names for jiu jitsu moves but who cares. Like the previous reviewer said, DVD menu could be better but not a big problem. Probably not the best for your first kettlebell dvd. You need some soft carpet or mats because you are rolling on the ground a good bit.
