You'll like piecing together this puzzle. It is beautifully made and quite complex -- a real challenge -- yet the colors are so lovely and the story within the puzzle so intricate that it will entice you to come back for more until, at long last, the puzzle is finished. I've been happily working on this puzzle for several weeks now and am almost done, which I kind of regret. It's been such fun putting it together! Initially I was overwhelmed by all the colors -- there are so many and they repeat in different locations of the puzzle. May I suggest dividing the pieces into categories, such as blue, green, pink, red, black, brown, windows, stripes, lights, night sky, roof, bricks (one for the buildings and one for the street), railings, etc.? Doing this was most helpful, for I quickly began to see correspondences. I also started at the top and worked down, as well as on the right and worked to the left until I could better see where I was going, which made things a lot easier. Happy puzzling!

Love this puzzle! The color is vibrant and cheerful. The pieces are thick (almost cushion) and fit so snugly. I loved it so much, I completed it in 3 days and am thinking of framing it. One plus that I was impressed by was that the backs of the puzzle pieces are blue, therefore, easy to find when you drop in the floor! I will be ordering more Ravensburger puzzles!!!

My husband and I had a lot of fun putting this puzzle together! So many cute and quirky little pictures inside this one puzzle. Very sturdy, thick, colorful pieces that interlocked incredibly well. Ravensburger is my new favorite puzzle maker!

This was a very fun puzzle to do. The colors and the scene is so interesting, we couldn't bring ourselves to pull it apart. My mom glued it and would like to frame it. We actually bought a 2nd one of the same exact puzzle because my husband would also like a version to glue and frame (he doesn't like to do puzzles, but he loves the way this one looks once it's completed).

I love Ravensburger puzzles. Own a lot of them and have worked some of them several times. This is the first one I can remember that had a missing piece.Of course, I didn't know that while I was working on it, and for the most part I enjoyed it. There's a whole lot going on in this painting and (as another reviewer noted) a whole lot of red. The figures toward the front are quirky and fun to put together, but in the back/upper parts they're so tiny you barely can make out the details. They show up as squiggles on the pieces. However, the nice variety of signs, letters, wall textures, and foreground paving stones do keep it interesting.As I work on a given puzzle, I'm usually evaluating it as either "This is a real keeper!" or "This one is going to my favorite charity thrift shop." Most Ravensburgers fall into the first category, but this one did not. I'm glad to have finished it but have no desire to do it again. So I will donate it, but include a note that a piece is missing. Whoever winds up with it might as well know that from the start.

Are you ready for a lot of fun? This puzzle was challenging, yet not to the point of frustration. All of the whimsical characters made it a lot of fun to assemble. The challenge was in the color - a lot of reds. When I sort through a puzzle to find the border pieces, at the same time I sort the pieces by color. I have a few shirt-size gift boxes that I spread the pieces out in according to their colors . (My sister in another state uses cookie sheets). This time I had a load of reds, so I sorted some by patterns.The border was easy to put together, and all of the pieces lock together very well. They have a nice weight to them, and a glossy feel. Really good to work with. I am continually happier with Ravensburger puzzle quality. Also, unlike some puzzle makers, they do not display the title of the puzzle right over the top of the puzzle. What the front of the box shows is what the puzzle is.If I had one small complaint, it is that the color seemed a little off sometimes. For example, the shutters appear green in the picture, but a few of the pieces looked more blue than green. No biggie. I enjoyed the puzzle, and will pass it on to my sister. I hope she has a big cookie sheet for those reds!

Pieces feel solid and are nice to hold/move/sort. They don’t fit together very tightly, so it’s usually hard to move more than a few at a time, although it’s usually easy to know whether a fit is real. The art makes for a fun and interesting puzzle experience, as there are similar types of patterns (such as alternating colors of awnings, or the various windows) that show up with variations throughout the puzzle. The people are quirky. All in all, I’ve enjoyed putting it together, and will probably pass it off to a fellow puzzler for her family to enjoy, too.

Enjoyed this puzzle. It was just challenging enough and took a couple weeks working on it a little bit each evening. I especially liked the artwork. The ravensburger quality made it nice and it was obvious if pieces were in a wrong place. One of my favorite puzzles.
