Architecture: A Beginners Introduction To Architecture

This "book" was more of a summary or an outline of a real book. There were no pictures included, most of the information was presented like a list of definitions. Example: Chapter 3, tools of the architecture listed 11 items and only gave a brief explanation of each one: drafting table, tracing paper, pencils and erasers (doesn't even tell you what kind and what they are used for - just tells you to get varying thicknesses and color so you can distinguish lines form one another., compass, tape dots (to keep your blueprints firmly planted on the drafting table), triangles, scales, markers, sketchbooks, a computer, coffee (you will need coffee to keep you awake and boost your energy, but not too much). -- that was all of that chapter.So short and simple, seems to be targeted towards kids, but if this was supposed to be targeted towards kids, why tell them they should be prepared to drink lots of coffee for energy? Bad.Also it lists a print list price for $19.99, but there does not ever appear to have been a hardcopy published - misleading the purchaser into thinking the kindle price of 2.99 is a good deal.I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing - I usually do, but for some reason didn't this time.

A great book for anyone interested to learn various aspects about Architecture. This book provides a history, tool, various styles of Architecture. Well-structured and easy to understand for beginners. Highly recommended.

Should try reading this book for very fundamental knowledge of architecture. Also great fun to read for non architectural background

Book was a bit basic with no elaboration on the points given, and no examples or diagrams/ pictures. The grammar did not flow particularly well either. I guess you get what you pay for...

This should be flagged as a scam. The excerpt I've read is quite telling of a bad book. You would be better of reading the wikipedia page about architecture.

Very basic, and extremely short. Not a good purchase.

Total waste of money. Nice cover but nothing inside. Sent for recycling. Very very disappointing.

Not a single illustration or drawing or figure ! Sorry to say this but useless book for a beginner.

It is recommended to search over the internet a bunch of images to visualize the various architectures mentioned in the book which contains no samples at all
