The FT232RL of my dreams
I have been dreaming about this chip ever since I was a kid. Finally, it comes in a three pack!!! OMG!!! I was looking to flash opensource software on my IoT devices, and this allows me all the connections that I need. I finally feel whole now that this chip is in my life. I remember when this chip came to my house. The sun was shining, birds singing, and a new patch had just been released. This day will go down in history as the day I got my FT232RL.

Works alright
It helped me connect my esp32 c3 dev module with a broken usb port. I can now use it again. I've only used one of the 3 but it works. One thing to note is the text on the pins are very smushed together and hard to read, it was a guess on which one is TX and RX

Very useful, but pay attention to the USB Type B connector
These are great, very useful. Please note that it uses the odd USB Type B connector. It is great for using it with a computer and a micro-controller that does not have a USB port.

I couldn't read anything with them
Maybe I'm dumb but I was trying to jtag a pretty basic Ardunio based (mass produced but still built with standard arduino parts) wifi camera. Not gonna say the name but it was 10$ and very high quality. I was surprised but it ran some older Daofang Chios that are banned now in usa, I wanted to dump the firmware and reverse engineer it for a side project but I couldn't for the life of me get any jtag software to actually connect and pull. Just stuck on detecting device but would detect the cable. I studied thst Manuel like the Bible and it didn't work. Tried some other devices with zero jtag or debug points listed and couldn't read anything but could ping the device and oddly enough send it 500-1000kb data packets but I couldn't pull the firmware
