Low-fat & Low-calorie Crunchy Snack
Gave one of these to our pit bull, Whitney. She gobbled it right up. Sweet potatoes are so healthy, and that's the only ingredient of these. Whitney tries to eat grass on her walks, so figure she's wanting some Vitamin A. She crunched one of these right up and really loved it. I feel good giving these as a treat. I think they are low-fat. Whitney's ribs aren't showing, so she could drop a few pounds. Having these as a low-fat and low-calorie snack should help her keep her girlish figure. As you can see from the photo below, these treats are different sizes. shapes and coloration. Some are as big - or bigger - than the 7-inch piece below. I break them in half sometimes. They are extremely crunchy. Might want to always give them when you're around, with water nearby. The vet tech also recommended getting canned pumpkin and adding it to her food, giving her a little less food. Or putting the canned pumpkin in ice cube tray and freezing it as a snack. That sounds like it could be interesting to try.But we'll be buying more of these sweet potato strips as a snack.

Hard like plastic
I originally in the past have bought another brand of single ingredient sweet potato treats. My dog has always loved them. So much so she learned the design of the bag and started getting into trouble while I was gone.Decided to give these a go. My dog likes them. However, they are very crunchy and hard. Not chewy in the least. Displeasing to me as a dog owner. The idea it sounds like shes chewing through plastic, and shards of it go flying with every chomp. The pieces I pick up are sharp and hard and honestly it is very concerning to me as a dog owner. I will not be giving any more of these to my dog, for they seem unsafe.

New recipe was better!
These are advertised as a raw hide alternative, but they were extremely hard and practically shatter when my dogs bit into them. I have two yellow labs and neither of them were big fans of this product.**Update: I received a new order of these and they are softer. One of my dogs seems to like them much better than the harder ones. I appreciate the seller offering to send me a free sample to see if their new recipe made a difference. :)

My dog loves these and I love that they're a healthy alternative!
My dog loves these! I do wish they were slightly more chewy, but I also do not give him this treat as an alternative to rawhide chews b/c he goes through the sweet potato strip within a couple minutes. (He's an 18lb miniature schnauzer mix that loves to chew through treats quickly!)Overall, I feel good giving this healthy treat to my dog :) Note, that you will see some smallish pieces when it comes out the other end, but it doesn't seem to hurt my pup. (At risk of sharing too much info, I feel like the pieces I've seen are similar to when humans eat corn).

Great dog treat that takes awhile to consume
I like to give my dogs a treat close to bed time to calm them down. I don't like giving them a lot of extra calories, or China rawhide. This natural treat is enjoyed by my Italian greyhound, lab, and mutt. It takes awhile to eat it, so it's not gone in two seconds with a dog begging for more. The only thing is it's not digested fully so there are orange specks in the poop. I like that it moves through their system fast. I'll be getting more.

Small pieces
I have been buying this for my Tibetan Terrier and he loves them. However, the last two orders had mainly small pieces and ends that i could not used.Decided to dehydrate sweet potatoes myself.

Sweet Potato Strips
I say it's okay because its healthy? But my dog did not like it at all, which surprised me because he does like sweet potato when I'm eating it fresh, but for some reason he does not like the strips, but that does not mean that your dog won' like this product :)

I got these for my little 8 lb bichon since he likes sweet potatoes. But I got them and they were too big for him and way too hard so he didn't eat them. I'm sure a larger dog would love these though.
