These are really quite lovely wood slices! Of the twelve slices I received, I got 4 large (almost 3"), 6 medium (2.5"), and 2 small (2"). With the exception of the small ones, they're all very clean, very smooth, and almost perfectly circular. The two smaller ones were oval shaped and not as clean and white as the others.There are just a few pieces of hanging bark on the outsides, nothing messy at all.If you know that you're going to be needing holes drilled in these, it's certainly a time saver to have them pre-drilled like this! Personally I would prefer them to not be pre-drilled since I tend to buy materials first and then figure out something to make with them, but that's just a preference and this listing is for drilled versions.Overall I'm really pleased with these!I received this product for free or at a discount in exchange for an honest review.

I purchased these to test out for making custom ornaments. I know that Christmas is quite a bit away but since I will be making thousands it is important to try and find the "perfect" product long beforehand so it does not sell out! I received these fast and they were packaged well. I am glad that these already have a hole drilled into them saving me a good hour or more of time. I found these easy to prep and paint as an ornament. I am very pleased with the outcome of my design and I think these will work well for my Christmas ornaments that I will be making. Needless to say I will be purchasing more! Overall, I would definitely recommend these.I received this item at a discount price for my honest and unbiased review. I know that the description says that the pieces will lose some bark but I really was hoping for a bit more protection when these were shipped. See pics for details. They were just wrapped loosely in a jumble in a plastic bag so there was no protection, but I suppose that is more of a seller/shipper issue than with the items.I love that these are varying sizes and shapes so there are no identical pieces. It really lends more to that homemade feel that prefab fake wood pieces leave out.I did have an issue with one of the pieces cracking where it was drilled. I'm not too thrilled with that but there are quite a few pieces here and I expected at least one to be unusable when I ordered it. The bark is pulling away all around some pieces but I plan on gluing them back down.I plan on painting on these for Christmas ornament gifts. I love that there are a couple "weird" shapes.I received these wood discs at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
