Akin to many of the other Zeroid products I've tried, the Zeroid Dermanewal Revitalizing Ampoule doesn't have a discernable smell.Ampoules are supercharged serums, so I'll use the word serum to describe this in the review. This serum is a cloudy, otherwise colorless, sometimes clear, semi-runny gel. It is lightweight with excellent spreadability and absorption. It melts into the skin without feeling heavy or greasy. Doesn't feel slippery or sit atop the skin after application, nor am I shiny.I have mature, sensitive, combination skin, and this kept things reasonably balanced. Oily, less oily, dry, less dry. Very gentle. No irritation, flares, new breakouts, rashes, etc. No essential oils, astringents, or mineral oil, and the like either. Likely suitable for all skin types/users.You use this after cleansing and toning and before your moisturizer. About a dime is all you need to cover your face and neck. And it can be used AM and PM with the rest of your skincare. You will want to apply this to skin that is still moist (from cleansing and toning) and be sure to use a moisturizer to enhance the benefits. It doesn't have to be an on-brand, expensive, or super-emollient. Find one you like, yes, even if you have oily or acne-prone skin, and slather it on after your serum. It will aid in repairing and maintaining the health of your skin's moisture barrier.Packaging-wise, I appreciate Zeroid putting this in a travel-friendly, sensible, suitable 1oz poly plastic tube with a fine dispenser tip (under the cap) instead of a glass or plastic dropper. While droppers are pretty and fancy, they're not always ideal or practical. The tube also ensures we will get every last drop of this $30 serum (as of this writing). The serum is priced on par with the brand's other products. Maybe a hint high, but you don't need much, and it is reasonably effective at boosting/maintaining moisture balance.Made in Korea.

This would have a been a great moisturizer for my 20s not so much for my late 40s with menapause extremely dry skin!

This is the second Zeroid product I’ve tried—one reason I like this company is because they post complete ingredient lists on their Amazon product pages. Using the wrong kind of skin product causes me to break out, so I need to know what’s in them. I can count on Zeroid products to be free of common skin irritants.That said, I do wish this particular formula had a few more product details. I’m not exactly sure when to use this, so I apply a bit at night when my skin is drier than usual or doesn’t look its best. In the morning I wake up to better skin tone and added suppleness. Only a little is needed to cover an entire face. It’s not the only night time treatment I use, but I like to alternate between products.
