Q: What is the inside diameter?

I don’t remember exactly but what I can tell you is it fit perfectly in a 1 3/4” hole. I bought 2 gates and put one one on my extractor which had a 1 3/4” hole. I put the second gate on a bucket in which I had drilled a 1 3/4” hole. The gates fit perfectly with no drips.

Q: Does anyone find a good food-grade sealant to use when installing this honey gate?

Food-grade silicone sealant works great. High heat and doesn't degrade. Sold here on Amazon.

Q: What Size hole needs to be drilled for this?

It’s a little difficult to drill the whole, wait in til you get the gate and find the right size drill. Drill slowly so you don’t crack the bucket. Work great!
