I was so excited when I heard Tanis Gray was coming out with a second book in her Harry Potter series of knitting books. The first book was just amazing of full of great patterns to knit. I really loved the Time Turner sweater. This second book really blows the first one away.I loved the Quidditch sweater and I cannot wait to knit Ron's hat for this winter. Everything looks so warm and cozy to wear. There are even hats for each house ! They even added patterns from Fantastic Beasts !All the patterns are clearly written and have very clear and concise instructions as well as photographs to accompany them so you can actually see what you are knitting. There some really interesting and new stuff in that would make great Xmas presents such as the Harry and Hermoine dolls and the Gigglewater Shawl is to die for.I don't think any HP fans will be disappointed and I think these patterns will be favorites for years and years.

OMG, this book is fantastic. I can't wait to get started on some projects. I want to make every single item in this book. They are all so beautiful. Reading through the patterns they are all obvious and concise, which is perfect for making the perfect handmade item. The book itself has no damage to it. There are no earmarked or bent pages. There are no dents or pushed-in corners of the hardcover either. The colors on the pages are also vibrant.

This book is so beautifully made. The book has a very nice hardcover. The instructions & illustrations are wonderful! The pages are not flimsy. They are made of a thicker material, which is wonderful for when you have to go through the book a lot or such. It also has very nice things one can create. Honestly, for some reason, my brain thought it said crocheting. Sadly I do not know how to knit. :( Though I have always wanted to learn, so I plan to keep this beautiful book and learn. :) Thank you to the makers of this book for doing such a lovely job! :)

This is a beautiful quality book. I am both a yarn crafter and HP fan and really enjoy having this book in my collection. Not only are there wonderful patterns for various skill levels, but little nods to the films as well.

When you buy a book like this that has such high praise and wonderful reviews, you want it to be a part of your collection. When it is a gift, you want it to arrive in good condition. This book looks like a lot of fun for my knitting recipient. I really hope the damage done to the corner does not detract from the excitement. Amazon needs to package their books better. Buying a brand new book that has a smashed corner is not acceptable. I'm certain it happened in transit.

I bought this book for my granddaughter to learn to crochet. She loves Harry Potter and it is a great book for her to learn from.
