This is exactly what I needed. I have a iPhone 6 plus and it accommodates it fine. You have to readjust and tighten it every so often, but it keeps things visible for when I use Waze.

One of the things that I don’t do id talk while I am on the phone at least I don’t with the phone in my hand. My phone is always on my leg or next to me somehow when I am talking on it. One of the others things that makes it really hard is the when I have to use my navigation to go anywhere because it makes it hard and I also feel rather unsafe. The instructions to install this were really nice and easy and I had no problem installing it into my car. Even when I had a problem with where I placed it, it was nice and easy to take off and then reinstall in the right place. The neck to the car mount was nice and easy to put in a position that I was comfortable with and that made it nice and easy to see my phone without it getting in the way of me seeing traffic safely. One of the things that I loved about this was that it was so nice and easy to release my phone quickly because when I am in a hurry the last thing that I want to do is fight my car mount. One of the other things that I loved about this is that it still makes it nice and easy to still charge my phone and have my auxiliary cord plugged into my phone while it is mounted. This is great cause I hate it when all the cords are in my way. Overall I love the convience of this mount. Not only can now talk on the phone safely while driving, I can also keep my device charged and out of the way. I think the idea of Tommly's cd slot Mobil phone holder is pretty ingenious. All you have to do is too slip it into the CD player and tighten the screw. Very easy! The part that holds the phone is padded on all sides so it does not hurt your phone. The one side pulls out to accommodate the size and shape of your phone or device. I own an iPhone 6 and it fits perfectly. The phone holder part is also on a ball joint so you can move it around very smoothly. This is very convienient so your passenger can access the device, or you can move it away from glares. This product is made from plastic and most of the phone holder seems very strong and sturdy, except the part that fits into cd slot. That part seems a little flimsy, like the part needs to be longer and slide in further for more stability.I had some issues with this product, but only due to my car not the device itself. I have a touchscreen gps screen just beneath my CD player. The Mobil phone holder blocks the screen where the screw fastens on. I can move the phone around because of the joint but the screw still blocks my panel. I am going to try it in my husbands truck because I really do like this product. Offered for a reduced price of 21 cents to test, I LOVE IT.Having a different car from previous, I needed--needed a place to set my phone for GPS work. NONE of the usual locations would work, due to slippery designed ledge at front under windshield. No spare places left, except on the gear shift. Not exactly easy to see, and I wasn't happy with that.But this gizmo solved all the issues. Removable (but so far doesn't fall out)--the holder fits easily into the CD slot (which I don't use much given I've given up 99% of my CDs-so haven't tested to see if CD can be played when the holder is in use.) Is in a perfect place to see the phone to know where to go via GPS...and given the vertical slide ability I can put it a bit up to configure it to where I need it most.Yes, I could have set up the cell on the old cell phone holder on a window--but I am safety conscious and don't want to block any view of the roads, bikes and pedestrians. Like to share nicely.So 100% good gizmo. Only 'glitch' that isn't really a glitch was set up. It came in a box in two pieces. A ball gizmo and the place to set the ball gizmo in, but no instructions as to how to do this (and no, it didn't just pop in). Fiddled about and found the ball holder had a twist to it, and THAT is what you fiddle to get ball in. So a bit of instruction might be a good update for vendor.

I am very happy with this product!!! At first glance I was skeptical about how sturdy it would be since I noticed that the piece that goes into the CD slot was a bit short. I have the iphone 6+, so naturally I thought there was no way the mount would hold the weight of my phone. Once setting it up and putting my phone on the mount, I was pleasantly surprised. The mount is sturdy and holds the phone well. The mount is a little loose in the CD slot when the phone is not on the mount, however, once you install the phone and use it, the weight from the phone keeps the mount in place inside the CD slot. My husband and I have used it several times while driving already. The rotation piece works well and makes it easy to switch from landscaped viewing to portrait viewing. I also like that the clip can be adjusted left and right as well. I am really happy with this mount and would recommend it to everyone who likes to keep their hands free while driving.
