Nine Track Mind

I actually stumbled onto one of his songs that popped up in search results when I was looking for another song. I listened to the preview and I was intrigued that I looked up the album and gave a listen on Prime Music. I was blown away. I am from an older generation and most of today's "popular" music just doesn't do it for me but this talented young man is definitely an exception. One Call Away and Marvin Gaye are great songs but I can honestly say that there was not a song on the whole thing that I did not like. I love that mellow old Motown R&R sound and this album delivers and the lyrics to "Marvin Gaye" cleverly written. Of course, being a longtime of Marvin Gaye, hearing my favorite songs immortalized was something special. Hopefully this very talented young man will continue to make his own brand of music for a long time for all of us to enjoy,

Good value

I think that this CD would make a great Christmas gift. Charlie never gives up on himself and is always trying new material and encouraging other song artists to do the same and he has so much joy within himself. I'm giving this CD to my son who is going through a lot of challenges getting used to a new joband a new state.

If Amazon allowed half-star ratings, I would give this album a 4.5, so I am rounding up to 5.The album contains mostly uptempo songs, mostly about relationships. The collaborations with other artists don't distract from the rest of the album since the style of the songs still fits with the rest. More than two weeks after buying this album, I still listen to it on average once a per day, and there are only one or two songs that I skip, and even then only occasionally. If you like what you hear on the samples of the songs, I definitely recommend it. I will definitely be looking for more music from Charlie Puth.

Another great album by Charlie Puth; I can't recommend this album enough.

It's been a VERY long time since I've found an album that I've loved almost every song on it. Whatever merit that may have, Charlie Puth's musical skills will not disappoint you; vocals, composition, style, everything is just perfect. I agree with past reviews, his style is distinct and diverse. You will find pop, electronic, soul, and r&b. This feel-good album, I promise, will make your day even better. Take a chance, like I did, and listen to his album.Personal favorites: Up All Night, Some Type of Love, As You Are, Losing My Mind, One Call Away

Really good music

Although Charlie says it was not his first album coz he had too many collaborators telling him how his sound should be . And the record label wanted him to follow the hit record See you again with as many hits he could do in a short period of time, there are gems in this record. No doubt about it. Still listen to those songs everyday.

conoscevo già da tempo questo giovane e bravissimo artista, ormai famoso per la collaborazione con Wiz Khalifa e altri artisti musicali di livello mondiale! avevo ascoltato qualche suo brano senza focalizzarmi troppo sulla sua musica.. così spinto dalla curiosotà e trovando un prezzo veramente vantaggioso (ho pagato il CD poco più di 4E) ho deciso di acquistare quest'album; le Canzoni sono tutte molto melodiche e con un ritmo frizzante, orecchiabile e mai noiose.. trovo Charlie Puth un artista "fresco", pieno di energia, con un suo preciso "stile musicale" e che segue la sua direzione senza induggi.. per ora il suo modo di comporre canzoni e di fare musica mi piace.. spero che sia in grado di rinnovarsi negli anni, e di proporre sempre qualcosa di nuovo e che non sia un "fenomeno del momento" come tanti altri artisti.. Lui ha classe e talento, bravo!!

Excelente primer album. Una voz muy cuidada y versatil, que maneja gran cantidad de estilos. Incluye grandes temas y lo encuentro bastante redondo y compensado.
