Easy Start / Reboot Your Pi ! The Wonnoo Tech 5V 2.5A Raspberry Pi power supply specially for the new Raspberry Pi 3 's Power requirement New Raspberry Pi 3 required the clear-cut 5V 2.5A power requirement, which if any lower power may result in the working problems. This power supply differs from typical standard 5V USB power supplies in the market in that it can deliver a full 2.5A and still output a voltage well within the USB minimum voltage specifications. It is also have the IR Smart for the auto power adjustment of 2A-2.5A for Raspberry Pi 2 & B+ That's the One for All!

Perfect.
Using it with a RPi3 and like it very much. I found it to be perfect. I like the fact that it is all modular, so if I want to use this with other devices that require the older mini USB power input, I can just use a cable for that. I like the shape of the charger since it only takes up space for one outlet on a power strip. I like the ON/OFF button, which will prevent wear on the RPi's power input port from plugging a cable in and out all the time. Be sure to power the device down by software first though, as Its not good to just cut power abruptly with anything running GNU/Linux. (If it's in the middle of writing to the card when power is cut, it can get corrupted.) All in all, I like this P/S enough that I will definetly be ordering several more! The heat sinks are your basic aluminum heat sinks. I already had flat copper heat plates on the chips, so I just stuck these aluminum sinks on top of the copper plates. From what I read, copper conducts heat better but aluminum radiates it better. I may be wrong but my thought process was the copper plates should easily conduct the heat to the aluminum sinks which will radiate it to air. It's all in a case with an overhead fan. I'm running OSMC with also Retropie emulator installed. It's running at arm_freq=1400, sdram_freq=550, over_voltage=6.

Powers my rPi-3 fine. The only thing is that I heard a slight hum coming from the charger. Not sure if it's just electronics settling and will go away or if it's something of concern. The ON/OFF switch on the cable sounds and feels very mechanical and with that, I hope it also implies durable. The included heatsinks are a bonus, I've attached them to the respective chips and hope that they provide the expected property versus acting as an insulator due to the bonding material used (the glue material a bit gummy and post install, the heatsinks had a bit of play)... maybe that will dry up and create a more permanent bond.

No more hassle turning my Pi on/off!
A major annoyance with my Raspberry Pi 2 and the 3 it was replaced with was having to pull the mini-USB cable out or unplug the AC adapter to actually shut it off. You can buy just the USB cable with the on/off switch separately, but for a few dollars more having the recommended 2.5A AC adapter for the Pi 3 (I'd been using a 2A AC adapter without issue) was worth it.If your Pi doesn't already have heatsinks added on you get those too, but I didn't need them.

I bought this for my Raspberry Pi 3 model B. The on/off button in the cord is very nice to have since the pi doesn't have an on/off switch. Works as advertised with my pi board. I replaced my existing power supply with this one for the on/off button and the fact it was an interchangeable usb cable.

I love this power supply
I love this power supply! I'm using it with my Raspberry Pi 3 device and I enjoy that I can easily turn on and off the flow of power to boot up my device without unplugging the cable. The bonus heatsinks were just an added bonus for me. This functions wonderfully and I like how the cord can separate from the power supply unit for easy transport and less chance of bent cables.

Great features and fair priced
This power supply solves 2 problems for me with my Pi, first it provides the necessary power required by the device, and as a nice extra, the cable includes a switch, with which you can turn the power on and off. The Raspberry Pi doesn't come with an on/off switch so this is a great feature, in combination with the low price these features make these a fantastic product.

Ok for phone use, not for SBCs
Finally got around to actually testing these under load. Supplies 2.5 amps, but voltage drops to 4.6 volts. Do not use this for a Raspberry Pi 2 or 3, you'll get the low voltage color square.

Crap. Insufficient voltage for Rpi 3
Insufficient power and voltage. The USB end of the wire doesn't securely fit into the adapter, it shows a bit of the metal connector and doesn't look like its 100% of the way in.Used it with my Raspberry Pi 3 and I got the little rainbow square indicating insufficient power.
