Works great as a primer+SPF.
I love this andalou cc cream. This is my absolute holy grail product. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin. It works great as a multi purpose product, I use it as a primer & SPF. It does a good job at covering my rosacea and neutralizing my skin tone. The scent is lovely and does not irritate my skin( not even in the slightest), which is a shocker because anything scented tends to irritate my skin. This is a high quality product at such an affordable price. I 1000 percent recommend this.

Perfect!
If you’re interested in a daily base that protects you from the sun while smoothing out your complexion with a light feel, and without harmful chemicals, this is it. I wear it every single day no matter what the weather is. It smells and feels good and evens out my skin tone and I know I’m protecting my face from the sun.

Fragrant and smooth
I love this stuff. I went without for a while when the price skyrocketed, and was so glad to get more recently. It smells lovely, goes on smoothly with a light wash of color to even out my skin, and keeps my face protected from sun damage. I always apply it over a base of rose hip oil, which is perfect for my skin. The oil helps it spread so I can use a little less. The color seems a bit dark going on but always rubs in to look natural. I have pale, cool-toned skin, with a tendency to go red with the sun.

Good Ratings on EWG. Some Shine. Light Coverage. Light Scent. No Allergies.
Safety: This product is rated 1 on a scale of 1 to 10 for toxicity on EWG's cosmetics database website.Color: I have fair skin with slight yellow undertone. This product works fine. (I've tried Pacifica's CC Cream in Medium, it was too dark on me.)Coverage: While the tint looks promisingly rich, once spread on the skin, its coverage is light. Still need a concealer if there are zits or redness.Shine Gees It Shines: Like many users, I find this 'mattifying' CC cream to leave oil shine on the skin (Not a nice "Woke Up Like This" look!). What helps: Facial powder (I used NYX's Shine Killer which is also low on EWG's toxicity rating and well priced. But powder is messy and drier) or primer (Tried Rimmel's Primer which only remove half the shine. AND successful with L'oreal's Mattifying Base which is photo-perfect matte). No Allergies: I'd been allergic to many nature products before, including many of Honey Girl's. This CC Cream works well with no allergies.Plus Point: Light rose scent that lingers for a short while - when the scent is gone, it's a reminder that too much time has been spent making up in front of the mirror! Time to move on. Life awaiting.Outdoors: Have been exposed to Level 3 UV sunshine for 3 hours and not feel any darker or form spots (which I am prone to). So far so good.

NO SHINE!
I've only been using this product for a few weeks, but it has already become a staple in my makeup routine. I have oily skin, especially in the summer with the high humidity, and this product not only protects my skin from the sun it also keeps my skin from being oily! A completely unexpected and highly prized PLUS! My previous experience with BB and CC creams has led me to be wary because they typically leave my face even more oily than it normally is an hour after application. However, the reviews for this product were good and I really wanted something that was lighter than typical makeup, protected my skin, had all or mostly all natural ingredients without anything extremely harmful in it, and wouldn't hit my budget hard. After some searching I found this product and am COMPLETELY satisfied with my purchase! I wear this item as a "base" for my makeup. It does not add a lot of color by itself and I was expecting that from a CC cream so it wasn't an issue for me. Especially for days when I want a "lighter" more natural look for outdoor activities (where wearing full regalia makeup would be a total waste of time-and makeup). During my regular makeup routine I mix this with a little color from my LUSH color supplement (a more natural skin tint) and rub on my face with my ring finger before smoothing with a makeup sponge. Takes about 2 minutes. The scent is, to me, very light and pleasant and does smell like roses. FYI money savers: if you have a TJ Maxx store near you this product MIGHT be available for 9.99 (they rotate stock a lot so it's a 50/50). If you're going to go anyway or you aren't sure you'd like it so want to pay a cheaper price...well, I have provided you with helpful information. :) If none of that is important to you then disregard what you just read. The last thing that I will add is that if this product continues to be priced as is (currently 15.99 at my first purchase on Amazon) or lower then I will most certainly keep purchasing (and recommending to all of my friends)!

Furious about the reformulation!
I have been using the Andalou CC Cream in "Sheer Tan" for close to a decade and have always loved it. I'm light-complexioned but the tan color was more appropriate for my skin tone than the original nude color which was way too light. Sadly, I came back for more only to find that the ingredients have completely changed and include a number of ingredients I can't use such as talc and fragrance. Talc makes me breakout, so that's a no. And fragrance is way up in the list of ingredients? Really?! I don't see any mention of all the various rose oils that used to be listed, either, so I'm assuming they've all been replaced with rose fragrance, whatever that means/entails. Lots of mystery ingredients in this new formulation. Plus, aloe used to be the very first ingredient, which worked great as a lightweight moisturizer for me, but now it's water. Now I have to find another spf cc cream for my highly reactive, acne-prone skin. Thanks a lot for ruining a great product, Andalou. : (
