Plug and Play on Yamaha Piaggero NP-12
Needed a pedal for my son's ongoing lessons and he took right right to it. Plugs right into the jack on the NP-12 and off he went. Very solid and sturdy build quality pedal, very grippy rubber base that keeps it planted to the floor, no sliding at all.

Quality
I have a Yamaha key board, and Guitar Center sold me a Pro-Line sustain pedal, insisting that it would work with my keyboard (they were out of stock on the Yamaha FC3A). It was reversed in polarity i.e. full sustain with pedal not pushed. I wasted an hour and a half following manual, Youtube, and Yamaha's web site, to no effect. I bought the Yamaha FC3A from Amazon, it arrived the same day. Plugged it in no problems works correctly. It also feels like it is better quality. About $15.00 more which is not much considering the time I wasted by getting poor advice.

Solid Pedal, Except for the Floor Grip
This pedal feels solidly built for the most part, and works perfectly with my Yamaha MOXF with the half-pedaling. It's also quite heavy, and had these rubber strips on the bottom that are almost like tire treads, so it's the only pedal I've tried which has not moved around on me at all while playing. Those rubber strips could have been better attached though, and I fear they could easily get torn off with a wrong move, such as when I was first trying to get the pedal out of the rather tightly sealed foam cover that it was packed in. Because the bottom of the pedal is not a solid flat plate, there are parts of these rubber grips which are not stuck to anything, so if something gets caught in one of those little gaps, I could easily see them coming loose. Overall though, I'd still recommend this to anyone who is looking for such a pedal for a compatible board.
