Well, that's $11 lost. The advertising weasel words say it all, that it's sized to fit most 14 yrs old to adult. Sure it is. What's most, 51% of the population, 99% of the population? It is WAY too big for me and is too delicate to customize. One fitting wire snapped off immediately when I attempted bend-to-fit. Most of the monocles sold on Amazon are the same size. I don't know who they fit. I'm an adult male with a large head, though that does not mean my eye sockets will also be large. I had hope. Good luck with this one. You pays your money and you takes your chances. Mine is going to the garbage. I would be better off bending and soldering a wire, then gluing on a thin piece of plexiglass as a lens. At least it would fit.

Exactly what I wanted. Doesn't feel cheap. Looks nice around my neck and when I feel like being fancy I just place and stroke my chin as if I were a gentleman and not some weirdo.

Clearly states in description that the cord is black. The one delivered was black. Disappointed as paid slightly higher price for this one compared to other sellers based on description that the cord was black. The inconvience of returning the item is significant enough for me not to be worth it so hence my 2 star review as the item is sufficient to my expectations aside from the cord color issue.

Bought this for a prop as a school play. Definitely adds to the character, I love it so much. I want to try and change out the faux leather string for a chain of some sort, as it’s pretty short and difficult to attach neatly, but it is *very* tightly tied to the hook.Other than that, fit pretty well and I look fantastic with it in. Hardly any difficulty seeing through it. It does have a tendency to pop out if I move my jaw too much though, haha
