Tutku is a Turkish name whose meaning is "passion," and I couldn't think of a more fitting monicker for this beautiful lariat. The bead crochet rope is crocheted from thousands of pearly seed beads in a rich cream color that resembles spun honey. After I crocheted the rope, I added beautiful brass accents and gorgeous deep terra cotta colored polymer clay focal beads. Each of the focals has a different design, and they all glisten with gold and silver highlights. The colors and textures remind me of the elegance of Turkish buildings and art pieces. The lariat is extremely lush and comfortable to wear. Wrap it around your neck a few times, tie a knot in it, loop it in half and pull the ends through (like a scarf).
