100 Swords is a sword based dungeon crawling micro deck builder! Load up with as much as you can carry and run head first into the dungeon, exploring rooms and revealing monsters, all while keeping track of hidden treasures and swords! During play, you must efficiently play the 5 cards in your hand for any combination of movement, strength, or energy. Movement advances you deeper into the dungeon allowing you to peek at or reveal the cards along the way. Monsters you find can only be defeated with strength. New items (and swords!) are acquired by spending cards in your hand for energy. Many items have effects that will further expand your tactical options as your deck grows. As you defeat monsters and pick up loot, do your best to remember where everything is hidden. Treasures and slain monsters are worth gold, so get collecting! Once the dungeon has been thoroughly ransacked, or the boss is defeated, whoever has the most gold wins!

Solo Gamers Rejoice
I am a solitaire game junkie and this is the most satisfying experience I have enjoyed in a long time (perhaps ever). After playing this about ten times I just ordered the Blue Mammoth deck and one of the deck builder sets as well. The artwork is tons of fun, the playtime is perfect for my lifestyle (~15 minutes) and the round structure is so simple that I never "lose my place". Great game at a great price- check it out!

Rules are NOT included.
I bought the game months ago. Usually I play a game the night it arrives and write a first thoughts review, but this one didn't have rules included. I thought about writing the review about that immediately but felt it deserved me grabbing the rules, so I waited. And I waited. And every time I went to play it, I didn't have the motivation to get back to the computer to grab the rules, print them out, then keep them somewhere with my games. And so it still did not get played. It just sat on the shelf collecting dust, for months. So after that much time I must right this review. I couldn't give it 1 star based on not actually playing the game, but I can't give it more than 2 either since I bought the product and I HAVE NOT PLAYED because the RULES ARE NOT INCLUDED.

Not a favorite by far, but seems to be Laboratory's equivalent to Munchkin in theme and salability!
Wish I liked this one more, as the form factor, solo option and general cheesiness/cutsiness appeal to me. Kind of just blah, but there are some fun concepts. It's a 1-2p deck builder framed around repeat delves into a shared dungeon composed of hidden cards. ("doors" you can pass or kick down to face the treasure or monster inside)Watched Rahdo's play through and his excitement sold me on it, I guess. But that guy seems excitable in general, and says lots of very kind things about games, perhaps to a fault if you want more critical/discriminating reviews. I'm guilty of the same much of the time. Just be sure to watch videos yourself and think hard about your interest level.

Gioco da giocare e rigiocare!
Gioco stupendo per brevi discese nei dungeon con un amico o in solitaria, mai due partite uguali
