Exactly what I was looking for
This mold is a 1.6 l, which is the perfect size for a 4 to six people English pudding knowing that this kind of dessert is delicious but pretty stuffy so you should not serve big slices by the way. As soon as it was delivered, I immediately washed and dried the mold. Then I did a lemon pudding recipe from Henry Dimbleby and Claire Ptak's book "Leon: Baking & Puddings". Absolutely FA BOU LUS!!!! I was really surprised by its feather weight, but it is pretty logical for a product made of alu. It is a non-stick mold, but I still recommend to coat the inside with oil or butter before pouring your preparation, just in case. The lid closes pretty well. Remember that in order to steam a pudding efficiently you MUST always cover your dough first with a both sides butter coated pastry foil, then with an aluminum foil AND at least with the lid itself. LIGHT, FUNCTIONAL, EFFICIENT, this mold is the perfect purchase for English pudding fans!

Good quality pudding tin
Pudding tins are getting more difficult to find so I was happy to find this one. Delivery was fast and the pudding came out really well in this tin.

Nice!!!
They're a nice size, well made and work really well. There is a seam, but it's almost flush, so things don't stick, and they show no signs of rust after several washings (I wipe them dry, but still leave them out to air dry before storing them). The edges were a worry when I ordered, but in actuality, they aren't very sharp at all, so reasonable caution is all you need to avoid cuts. All in all, am very happy with these.
