Do not waste your money
Do not waste your money!! I thought this was really cool. My daughter and I have been looking forward to building this for a few months. Today we finally opened it up and got to work. First thing...the instructions are by far the worst set of instructions I've ever dealt with. I understand that most companies have gone away from using actual words (which is unfortunate) and solely rely on pictures. I'm used to that. The instructions for this are like it's own puzzle. I'm not even kidding. It's basically like a chart where you have to find the tower number, scroll down to the appropriate next step and then realize that this step only makes sense if you jump ahead two steps forward for a different section to even see where it could possibly connect to. It takes some real patience to say the least. But the real problem is the product itself. It's a pretty cool idea which is why I bought it for my daughter. Unfortunately it is completely unstable. The first attempt we got halfway through and while trying to put a bit of pressure on a piece to secure it, the entire thing came crashing down. That problem stems from a number of pieces were not mounded correctly. So when you try to press them together they just keeping popping back apart. It was getting late so I told my daughter it would be ready by morning. Back to the pieces that wouldn't hold, I resorted to some super glue. That works in some areas it not with all. Basically the pressure on some pieces is just to much to withstand the unnatural way you have to bend them. Long story, somewhat, short, once it was together, correctly mind you, the entire thing is completely unstable. I ended up with the 4 leaning towers of Pisa. One wrong move and it could completely fall apart. The worst part is the fact that when is does hold, the marbles fly off of it all over the place. Rarely do they make it to the end. Needless to say this is an absolute nightmare if a toy for a young child looking forward to being wowed.

Ridiculous Pile of Junk
This set looked so cool and I was super excited to give it to my daughter for her birthday, as she loves the marble runs at preschool. This set, however, is a tremendous piece of junk. The pieces are flimsy and don't fit together properly. They are either too tight or too loose. This means that whatever structure you create will stand crookedly, if you can even get it to stand alone. That may seem like a silly thing to complain about, but it greatly effects how the marble run works. Being ever so slightly off means that the marbles don't go down the course properly. They get stuck or go flying off the course. It's next to impossible to get a marble to successfully complete an entire run. The pieces themselves are so cheap that my daughter broke one on the set's second use as she struggled to connect the pieces. The marbles included with the set are smaller than normal marbles, which isn't a problem initially, but if you lose them, the set becomes useless, as normal marbles are too big and can't fit. One of the things I really was looking forward to about the set was its trick pieces. It has a loop-de-loop, and a number of spinners. These don't work well either. The loop-de-loop is composed of two pieces, which like everything else, don't fit seamlessly together and effects how the marbles run. Similarly, the spinners tend to sit at just the right angle that the marbles run under them without setting them off. Disappointing! My final comment would be that the set is labeled as appropriate for children 3+. If by that, the makers mean that your child can anxiously watch you curse your way through assembling the EXTREMELY complicated directions for the one course pictured (because you practically need a degree in engineering to create your own unique course), then, yes, the set is perfect for smaller kids. So just stay away! This toy is a complete waste of money and I wish I had chosen a better set or could get a refund for this pile of junk.

Don’t waste your time or money
I have never left a negative review on Amazon in all of the years that I’ve used this site but I guess there’s a first for everything.I ordered this for my 7-year old daughter for Christmas because it looked pretty cool and I thought it would be a fun activity that we could do as a family. We opened it yesterday, and it only had 25 pieces in it. It’s supposed to have 85!There were no marbles, no pink connectors like in the picture and description. How are you going to sell a product that’s missing SIXTY pieces?Needless to say, my daughter was pretty disappointed and now I have to take the time to try and return it. Don’t buy.

Great product. The pieces are a little hard to put together and the instructions could be a bit more clear, otherwise I really like this product. I like the mix of sparkly pink connector pieces and the primary colored other pieces. Great amount of marbles! I would even consider buying another set so we could make a huge one!!! For the price a very good set! My daughter loves it!!

Excellent fun development toy for the family
My kids love this toy!It develops fine motor skills, eye hand contact and creativity. Although it comes with instructions and structure examples, I love when my 6yo explore and examine alternative ways of building it.

Poor quality and instructions
I was glad to get this during the Lightning Deal. My 6 year old was super excited to put this together (having built a different one last weekend) but our experience was pretty disappointing. The quality is cheap and the pieces don't fit well together. The translucent pieces are of a different material and seems brittle. The instructions are a joke! I am great with assembling stuff without instructions but even with 'instructions' this proved to be a challenge. My daughter quickly lost interest due to the complexity but I wanted to complete it for her. Finally got it done and she played for a few minutes and said it wasn't too much fun. Would not recommend this product as there are way better alternatives available. Hope this helps.
