Everyone in the world should have one.
This bowl has been a constant piece of kit for too many years to count. It's burnt black, stained, and dented from a hard drop inside a bag. When not in the field it stays in the vehicle with me when commuting to work and still gets used to make coffee and oatmeal or heat up soup. I keep an esbit stove, light my fire spork, S.A.K Bantam with the can opener, and a pot lifter folded up and all tucked inside with a small hand rag. The bowl and contents fit in a small canvas bag along with some tea bags, coffee grinds in a bag, and a couple oatmeal packs. It's a simple cheap piece of stainless steel that I would never give up. Get yourself one and name it, you'll be together a long time.....update, years later 2024. MSR...I just bought another one and it's much thinner steel. Don't ruin a good thing. Charge a bit more and make them the way they used to be.

So great I bought 4 of them!
I go camping every year and these are a staple in my camping cookware. Perfect size for cereal, can of spaghettios, or whatever and easy to wash when done.

remove sticker gunk with white gas
It's a great size bowl for me to replace both plates and bowls with i.e. it's a two in one. It's the the size of a good size soup bowl except with nearly vertical walls so it can hold a decent bit. One of the things I noticed in a few reviews was people struggling to remove the inside sticker residue. In general, adhesives are organic compounds (recall your chemistry) and thus dissolve in organic liquids readily. I just dabbed a paper towel in a bit of white gas/camping fuel and rubbed on the adhesive residue and in moments it was gone without a trace. Been doing this for a while for persistent stickers and it always works. Of course, after that you soap the bowls up and rinse them really well and you are good to go.

A Good Addition to the Backpack
I like the size of the bowls and the way they nest. My only complaint is that the bottom of one of the bowls pops in and out, and is accompanied by a sound resembling the tapping of a cookie sheet.

Overall Happy With Purchase
We've been using the bowls for about a month and it's holding up. It has scratches on the inside though that is to be expected when a toddler is using it.Pros:1. It's light weight2. Doesn't look like a dog bowl3. Perfect for 3 yr (no more broken bowls. We don't like plastic)Cons:1. The stickers were a pain to get off (was it necessary to have stickers on the inside and the outside of the bowl?)I used baking soda, avocado oil and napkins to remove sticker residue (oh and lots of old school elbow grease). My first attempt I let my oil and baking soda mix sit for an hour. Then scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed. The main stickey part was removed but there was definitely a faint chemical or something left behind. Water was gathering on only where the sticker use to be (wash your bowls well!) A bit frustrated, I washed the bowls with soap and water then put another batch of oil and baking soda on and scrubbed the solution in then left to soak over night. Next morning, scrubbed with all my girly might and washed with soap/water again. It worked! I have pictures before I washed bowls and after I got residue off.

High quality, lightweight, and durable. Perfect for the whole family, including your baby and your dogs!
High quality, lightweight, and durable stainless steel. Non toxic. I originally bought these to use as dog bowls. We have had them for years and they still look like new. I have since purchased more (the new style nests beautifully) and also now use these for serving my baby her food at every meal at home and when out. Perfect for serving food to an infant because you know exactly what the temp it is. Easy to cool hot food quickly (like oatmeal) by placing a glass dish with ice and water underneath to get the food to a safe temp before serving. We have stone floors (travertine) throughout our house. Our daughter loves to let us know that she has finished eating by throwing her bowls from the height of her high chair daily and they have never had a dent. Please note that the old style is a brushed stainless inside and out. New style that nests is brushed inside with a high polish stainless on the outside. Both styles are awesome. Worth every penny! Highly recommend.

Absolute LOVE these bowls but can't get the adhesive stains off either...
I love these bowls, we've been using enamel bowls for years and recently decided to try these and i absolutely love them. They look nice, they feel nice, and they can take a beating, and they're easy to clean. The stainless is fairly thin so they will dent if you drop them but they're camping bowl, they look better a little beat up.Like everyone has said, the decal/sticker stain will not come off, I've used these bowls countless times and have washed them countless times and used goo gone on them and ate greasy food off of them and the sticker stain looks exactly as it did the first time I pealed off the stickers. It's super annoying when they're brand new but after awhile you get over it and accept them for what they are.

Great little bowl
I took this camping. I wanted to nest it in my cooking pot set and it does fit, but I actually like to put my camping stove inside it to protect the stove. So now I have to find a new place to put my bowl. The bowl is thin and light weight. I wouldn't cook in it, although I'm sure you could in a pinch. If you put something hot in it remember that it's thin so it will heat up fast. Don't burn your hands. Other than that great little bowl. I might drill a small hole near the top so I can add string to it. This way I can pack it outside my pack and not lose it.
