It ok
Is what we needed. But it pretty difficult to use it. U really have to pull it hard. I wish some how it can be soft n smooth when u swiping it.

Good for Backup
This unit is a great value but as a backup imprinter if you go offline. However, if you're going to use a flatbed printer a lot, a heavier, more expensive model will be more practical.

we supply one of the manual imprinters to all of our stores, JUST IN CASE the VeriFone goes down. They come in handy

does not work properly with long forms
With the unit I received, when you try to use a long form the roller that imprints the merchant plate does not engage (go into the imprint position). Once in a blue moon it will work, but nearly every time I tried to use it, it failed. So, in my experience it will not work properly with the long forms.

Just as I ordered
These items came just as ordered. I'm thinking that I might just have to order some more. I use these when doing outside sales, and it is more accurate that having employees write the numbers down.

Didn't really work.
We bought 2 of these for a charity event - the event is only once a year so we didn't really want to invest in anything more advanced to process credit cards. Well, despite the fact that it came with 2 slips that had been run through the machines by the company, proving the machines worked at the factory I guess, these just did not work well for us at all. The imprints just were not clear enough for us to be comfortable using them and part of the numbers were always too faint to make out. We did not have a name plate but we did put in a small card in that spot as a placeholder in case that was throwing something off, but it didnt help. We tried multiple times, even using different kinds of slips, but it was always too faint. In the end we didn't use these at our event.

Decent for the price.
Not the easiest in the world to use, but for the price, it's worth it. Make sure you adjust the pressure of each of the two rollers and test it before putting into use.
