Do not buy, not worth it. Cheap imitation junk.
Do not buy this product. Installed in November, and 5 weeks later the panel has failed. First one button “spa heat” stopped working, and not great but still workable. When I inquired with the seller (and manufacturer) about a warranty claim, they said I would have to mail the part to their office in Arizona for troubleshooting.... this seems rediculous considering the part is glued to the heater and will almost certainly break during removal. Poor service from the seller, just not good. Read the other reviews about premature failures of this product. It is not worth the savings, just buy the OEM part. As of today the heater turned its self on and ran for the entire day! My pool is now 100 degrees and I’m sure the gas bill will be more than the cost difference between this cheap imitation and the quality OEM part.

Get my heater on for 3 days even when turned off to 94 degrees!
I got this sensor may 8th and installed. Easy to fix, however, 6 weeks later I dived in the pool to cool off (we haven't needed the heat on for 3 weeks because its been 90+ degrees in Florida and its holding a decent temperature) and the water was so hot. Not just the top surface water but all the way to the bottom in the deep end. I got out and the heater was on and the water was 94 degrees! I have never even set it higher than 88 and it was spa that was stuck on and I don't even heat the spa. I turned it off but the next day it came on with the pool pump so I had to take it out. I was away for a few days so the heater was running 8 hours a day for 3 days so I am dreading my gas bill. If I had of just paid double the amount ($70) for a Pentair it probably wouldn't have happened but decided to take a chance on a cheaper version and now probably facing a $200 gas bill. I won't bother replacing it since its going to be hot until the end of the year but I will replace with a Pentair. Reading some recent reviews it looks like others had the same problem and even looks the company is either out of business or not carrying these anymore. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

I've ordered this product twice both worked for a week then stopped working.
The product works great when first installed but after a week or two stops working. I ordered two of these control boards both worked when installed, the first one after two weeks completely stopped working, the second one after one week the off button does not work. They are supposed to have a warranty and will update how that process goes as I will be requesting replacements or a refund under the warranty today.Update: returned and received a new one the return process and receiving the new one was very easy and smooth as both pads stopped working during the first 30 days so just returned through Amazon. Installed my 3rd pad and it worked for around 60 days and has now stopped working. The product comes with a 12 month warranty so will now try to contact the company and see what that process is like. For around $30.00 I'm on my third pad and as I only need the heater to work about four months out of the year I think the cheapest process may be to just order a new one then keep retuning it and getting another new one every 30 days during the Amazon return window. I will update again after trying to return using the manufactures warranty process.

Worked for about two weeks, then caused heater to turn on by itself
The membrane worked for a couple weeks, then caused a problem. The heater began to automatically turn itself on- our heater has a manual start only, so you have to actually push the on button for it to start. I'm guessing the sticky side was not watertight or had some kind of glitch, even though I had applied the new membrane as directed & onto a clean surface. Over the next week, several times it turned the heater on. I disconnected the membrane to test where the problem was and it stopped turning on automatically, so it must have been the pad itself. Maybe I just got a bad one, but having my heater go on in the middle of the night and wake up to a 95F pool is not good. I'm dreading my natural gas bill for the month!

Failed after 2.5 months! Seriously! This membrane switch is under a black pentair cover, installed exactly like the manufacturer designed, and failed with modest use over a 2.5 month period.I will not buy this pad again. Contacting Amazon for help regarding the 12 month warranty.
