Keepalive KA30461 White/Blue Tank

Yes this is pricey but so is a trip 25 miles out only to have your bait die. I have only started to use this but I am very impressed so far with how well it kept 40 pinfish and 20 Cigar minnows alive for the entire trip with only a few casualties that I believe we're probably on their last leg when I got them. I do agree that the wire and the hose get in the way when you try to net your fish but it still works great. I purchased a OLS 12V DC 10A HEAVY DUTY cigarette lighter adapter with a 10 foot wire and a switch built into it and attached it so I don't have to keep attaching the alligator clips to the battery to run the pump. Now I just plug it in to the 12 volt receptacle and I can turn it on or off. If I had the time I would run a hard wire to my spare switch but for now it works great as is and I can remove it from the boat.

Ordered from Amazon warehouse. No instructions in box and missing pieces. These tanks are grossly over priced for what they are to begin with but it was the size I needed. Amazon shipping is a disgrace.

it was a nice set up I didn't like how the wires came out the top but disnt think it was worth the money.

Hinges on this thing will break with use and the pump is pretty cheap. Insulation is pretty disappointing as well. I'd expect something better for this price.

Bought mine 6 years ago. Never had a problem with it. Keeps bait alive and kicking if you use commons sense approaches such as defoamer, a little rock salt to improve fish health, recycle water periodically. I ran wires from pump to top inside small pvc tube.
