Winner of a Parents' Choice Gold Award, Apple Apple is the third family music CD from The Harmonica Pocket. Catchy songs about babies, a bird with a fear of heights, and even a diaper-wearing superhero make Apple Apple perfect for families with young children. This truly green recording was produced at The Harmonica Pocket solar-powered studio on a tiny island in Washington State's Puget Sound. The Harmonica Pocket is part of the acclaimed Seattle area ''Kindiependent'' collective of family-centric musicians. Fellow Kindiependent artists Chris Ballew (aka Caspar Babypants) and Jack Forman (of Recess Monkey fame) and Johnny Bregar (whose songs are featured on Putumayo Kids CDs) appear as guest artists on Apple Apple.

Wonderful artist
My children and I both love Harmonica Pocket. It's fun and silly but mellow and calming. Keeth's voice is so soothing. He can shut off a meltdown almost instantly. I turned on Apple Apple last night, and they were out cold in 5 minutes. This is a wonderful alternative to the childish, Elmo type music. I feel it's adult music with cute lyrics. I listen to it when the kids aren't around.

A Pretty Cute CD For Kids
We checked this CD out of the Oak Park, MI library to give it a listen. I have a 9-month-old and he definitely bobbed up and down to some of the tunes, especially the first one, "I'm Gonna Count" and track 6, "Little Little Baby". I think it would be better for 2-5 years, but this is a pretty quality volume. The music was catchy and as an adult I had the capacity to listen to the majority of it without wanting to switch tracks.

Refreshing
This is a refreshing, calming CD. It has a folksy feel that is fun and engaging. We recently saw them perform, and they are even more enjoyable in person. Apparently the album was all recorded with solar power in their off-the-grid home. Even more impressive!

Great for whole family!
By the second time we played this CD, my two year old knew most of the words. He asks for "Apple Apple" by name now! He loves the music; I love the messages in the lyrics that teach us to be imaginative, good to the world, and part of a loving family. I listen to this CD even when my kids are not in the car - it's that good! Thank you so much Harmonica Pocket for making quality children's music that really is great for the whole family.
