It's fairly large compared to other party supplies we've tried, and the attached lid is convenient (rather than a lid you take off, and need room to set down), but doesn't seal (space around the edges when the lid is closed), so it won't keep food from drying out. It'll look good to your guests (like you're trying), and keep dust and dirt off of the food, but don't count on this keeping food fresh during a party. It's also a bit expensive, and doesn't come in discounted 2 -or- 3 packs. I'm sure you can find a better alternative if you take the time.

I'm so happy I came across this dish thingamajig. I have been looking for something to use during barbecue's to place food in without little critters getting into it. I have bought those dome umbrella looking things to cover the dishes, but they break easily and the bugs still manage to get thorugh.I have serious amount of bugs in my backyard and I cannot stand when I see them hovering over the food on the table. I get easily grossed out the minute a fly touches down on our meal, whether it be chips, fruits, bread, meat etc. This thing really keeps the food enclosed and safe from the bugs and has the extra bonus of keeping food fresh inside as well. I've had guacomole, chips, and bread in there, outside for quite a few hours on a hot day and it neither got brown or stale. I also like the fact that it has an inner tray that can easily be removed to clean and to just stick into the fridge without all the extra clutter of the outer piece.

if you're looking for airtight container, this is not the product for you, it's not a sealed container.

I was having an issue w processing of payment for this product and was disappointed, thinking that it would not arrive by the promised date. I needed it for a function the day after it was scheduled to arrive, but despite the minor setback, I am happy to say that it arrived ON TIME!It is perfect for picnics and potlucks, and much nicer than foil pans. You are also able to keep it covered to keep the flies away, but at the same time, able to see what is inside because of the clear cover. Note: cover does not seal container air-tight (nor did they say that it would) so it won't prevent food from getting stale. All in all, I am very satisfied with my purchase!

Bought these for cold food but the lid doesn't close if you add ice. I tried doing a small single layer but it still wouldn't close. Don't waste your time on these

The design was perfect, but it wasn't as sturdy as I expected it would be.

This dish is great for serving finger foods. Keeps food covered, but is easy to use with the attached lid. It's much better to use than fumbling with supermarket plastic trays.

I got this to use this weekend for my sons party and the lid came broken. I'm very disappointed.
