This paste will remove most fiber reactive colors, direct dyes and acid dye from fabric.

Review: I am going to love creating designs with this, it’s AMAZING! - Works amazingly. This product does exactly what it states it will do-removes the dye from the fabric. I used a very sparing amount of the gel and it took the dye out and left my design. This jar will last a long time. I did wear gloves and you will want to use in a well vented area. Warning-when you heat set the design the smell is horrible! I made the mistake of using a heat proof pad under the garment when ironing the area and it took multiple times of deodorizing before the odor left. I will use a heavy towel in the future. Also, protect your iron (and fabric) with parchment paper.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this product remove dye from cotton fabric (batik)?**
A: Yes.  Some cotton dyes like Cerulean Blue procion may not discharge, but most will and will give you a batik look.   Testing is encouraged because some dyes will not be removed by this.

**Q: I tried using this but even after it was mostly dried, the cotton shirt kept all its colors. Should I have been able to see something? Ideas?**
A: It's possible that the dye used in that cotton shirt is one that will not discharge at all; not all dyes discharge. Unfortunately there is no way to predict that when you buy a garment in the store. Your best results come from a dyed fabric that is hand-dyed using Procion MX dyes.

**Q: Does this work on polyester?**
A: It is for natural fibers.

**Q: Is this bleach paste that is heat-activated?**
A: I always thought it was a bleach process but now the new product ( a re- packaging of this with a different name because customers " didn't like the old name" ) says  that it's not bleach.

I absolutly love this stuff! I read some reviews and would like to highlight that its not for synthetic fabrics ,ive used it on cotton and canvas to screenprint and its great ,only problem is getting the smell out before i send to my customers but it does eventually go away.i recomend not leaving it weeks before applying heat as i did that and it wasnt as vibrant.also dont over heat as it scorches but its easily washed away.vibrsncy does depend on the amount of colour in the fabric ,i used it on purple and it went light blue,ive included some photos of my work for you to see .100% recomend this product!
