Whink Wash Away Laundry Stain Remover, 10-Ounce Bottle (Pack of 6)

I have practically given up on stain removers. Every time I try a stain remover, it doesn't remove the stain and it only ends up collecting dust on my shelf. Some of the stain removers I've used end up being too abrasive on my delicate material. I'm the type who is accident-prone. Whether it's a beverage or ketchup, I invariably end up with stains on my clothes. (I can't take myself anywhere.)After browsing on Amazon, I couldn't help but notice the average five star rating for Whink Wash Away. I normally read reviews with a grain of salt, especially since there are a lot of fake reviews on Amazon. However, I couldn't help but wonder if I've finally found the stain remover I've been searching for for a very long time. I don't live in the USA and was very willing to shell out an exorbitant amount on the shipping fees just to get something that could effectively remove stains. When it arrived (it was properly packaged), I instantly tried it on my expensive black and white dress which had a three-week old lipstick smear on it. After gently rubbing it into the material and letting it soak for five-ten minutes, the lipstick smear vanished! My dress was as good as new and the delicate fabric was not ruined. Like a kid at a candy store, I was so excited to try it on other stains. So far it's removed grass stains ( on my six-year-old nephew's shorts), tinted sunscreens on my white blouses, ink stains. What's even more wonderful is that it doesn't have a pungent smell and is very gentle on the fabric. It doesn't cause colors to fade. The directions are easy to follow. The reviewers here are true to their word! I'm so pleased, I'm going to become a pack rat and hoard bottles of Whink Wash Away laundry stain remover!** I've yet to try it on oil stains. I'll update my review once I do. **

I have not used it on a serious stain yet but it seems to work good, I miss the stain remover called easy wash, the bottle looked kind of generic compared to the popular brand bottles and it was cheaper but it was the BOMB, I got railroad grease all over my fav white pants, drizzled easy wash on the grease marks and threw them in the hamper, a week later I pulled them out to wash them and I could not believe it, the grease was already gone and no harm done to the material, had I known I was never going to see it again, I would have bought a few cases before it all vanished,

I was looking forward to receiving this. The reviews made it sound great. So far...for me...it's performance has been mediocre. I put some place mats in a low dryer with some spots still on them. I have used this product twice on these spots and they are still there. I've had good luck with Shout before taking out "set in" grease spots. It's always worked at least the second time. Whink has not.Two months later I think they should name this product Throw Away. That's what I'm going to do with 5 1/2 bottles of it. It doesn't even work on a simple olive oil stain. I saturated the stain, let it sit over night, and washed with detergent in cold water. The stain is still there. I'm going to buy some Shout. It always worked for me. I only bought this because it wasn't a spray. It's a waste of money. I don't understand how it gets great reviews. I've used it a lot and mostly been very disappointed.

I had used many, many stain removers over the years, and began to dread trying new ones since none of them ever worked very well. When my son was little, I got desperate for ways to remove all kinds of splotches and stains from his clothing--and finally found Whink at our local hardware store. Whink actually got stains completely out of every fabric I tried it on, to my amazement and joy.As with other stain removers, you pour on a small amount and scrub it for a little while--but, unlike most, the item doesn't have to be washed right away. You can apply Whink as soon as you see the stain, and then leave it on until the next time you're washing clothes. Whink seems very gentle on fabrics, too.Getting six at once is kind of like getting a lifetime supply--one bottle lasts a long time, maybe a year or longer for a small family.I was very sad when our local store no longer carried Whink--so I was happy to find it on Amazon, although I might have preferred getting fewer bottles at once.I totally love Whink.

Does not remove laundry stains very well. I use the Whink rust remover and it is awesome!

I have been ordering this stuff online since I stayed at my sisters house one time in FL and got a white shirt stained and she said, "don't worry. I have some stuff that will get that right out" and it did! So I brought her down a pair of my favorite shorts that had a sport on them I could never get out but kept the shorts because it so very small and I love them. It got the stain out. When I got home I ordered a box of 6 bottles and have been doing that ever since for 10 years. Best stuff ever for getting out hard to get out stains! Highly recommend!

I've used Whink Wash Away for over 30 years. I had tried many stain removers to get rid of the grit and grime on my husband's and children's clothing, but these products just didn't have the power like Wash Away to remove tough stains. I love the fact that I can treat laundry stains several days ahead of time before actually washing the laundry. It also does not have a strong scent which had bothered me with other stain removal products. I used to be able to purchase it at my local hardware store, but after moving away I wasn't able to locate it again. Was I ever pleased when I discovered that amazon.com carried this product, and it was cheaper than what I had been paying at the hardware store!

I tried this based on other reviews, and have to say I was not disappointed! I have 3 kids, and stains are inevitable. This stuff has gotten out blood, bbq sauce, poop, pretty much anything a 4 & 2 year old, plus a 6 month old could do to their clothes. I love that it's a little thicker than some stain remover, and clings to the clothes better. Would buy again!
