2 years ago I got a snow thrower, got it running the week b4 a storm. The day of the storm went out pulled the cord and the blasted thing wouldn't start. It sat till last fall, when I drug it out, cleaned the carb and troubleshot the thing. Found an open coil, this one worked fine. Thanks to the other folks who had gotten it, I figured out how to wire it into my machine since it had one wire and the one I took out had 2.If you get one of these the one wire from it is the KILL WIRE. Wire it to a toggle switch to ground, when it's grounded it will kill the ignition an shut the machine down.

Took 10 minutes to switch it out and the thing fired up and sounded great. Now it runs fine
My son's go kart would run for 10 minutes and then die. Did some research and found out that it was probably the coil. Took 10 minutes to switch it out and the thing fired up and sounded great. Now it runs fine.
