Tanner Essentials Non Stick Silicon Thick Baking Mat, Set of 2, Large

I purchased two mats of Tanner Essentials. I was so excited to receive my silicone baking mats yesterday. The second I received them. I haven't stopped cooking and baking with these amazing baking mats. I made tons of loaves of bread and mini deli rolls. I'm really impressed with the way my food came out. The bottom wasn't burnt not like parchment paper. Also cleaning these mats are a breeze. I ❤️ This product

Amazing product easy to use easy to clean just wipe down with a wet paper towel and no need for buying wax paper any more and he is an easy guy to speak with and very patient

Work great, I've already used to roll fondant, cookie dough, cut them out right on the mat and straight to the oven!

My hubby is a health and phys. ed teacher and makes healthy food treats for his kids as rewards (pumpkin cookies, spinach brownies, etc.) and we go through a ton of parchment paper. I usually save the paper and use it for multiple batches, but even so, parchment paper isn't cheap... and any residue will burn upon re-entering the oven so you can only use them so many times. Awhile ago we had tried a "non stick" mat but it discolored, was difficult to clean, and made the cookies taste funny. That one got thrown out immediately.Enter these mats by Tanner. They have a slick coating on the tops and work like a dream. They are very easy to clean-- just wipe with a soapy sponge. That slick coating doesn't allow anything to stick to the mats, making your cookies slide off with ease, and any crumb residue left behind just wipes away. I would totally recommend these as an alternative to parchment paper-- the cost of these is equal to 2 boxes at the supermarket, but the added benefit is these will last longer and can be reused with ease.Be sure to wash them before using. I store mine rolled into a tube shape with a dish towel in between and a rubber band around both. Like this, they fit anywhere.I did receive this item at a discount for an honest review, which is what I have provided. I take leaving reviews very seriously as I rely heavily on them when making purchases of any kind and feel duped when I read an item is 5 stars and find it's a dud. These mats should not be tightly rolled and placed in box. They stick together tightly and stick to box making them frustrating to get out and lay flat.I've used these thick silicone mats to roll out cookie dough and bake with. They're not really big enough to roll out large amounts of dough, but they are excellent for baking with.I love that I need not use any grease, butter, or sprays to keep foods from sticking to my pans. This makes for healthier foods with less calories and saturated fats. My cookies and biscuits slide off mat easily without using a spatula to remove food. Overall, this saves me time and money in my kitchen.I have various silicone baking mats that I've used in my freezer, oven, grill, toaster oven, micriwave, and dishwasher. Most have held up well under extreme heat and cold with the exception of a few cheaper mats being damaged. However, this set of silicone baking mats are thick and nicely made as some of my more costly mats. I used them again last night to cook garlic bread and bake potatoes. Worked excellent with no problems and easily cleaned. I really like these mats and will continue to use frequently for all my baking needs.
