Teaberry Ice Cream Flavoring

Gre up on tea berry soft serve, so happy to get to taste it again. Love it.

I have looked for quite some time for some teaberry ice cream, a remnant of my childhood, and kept coming up empty. I even tried contacting some of the creameries from back home. But since it would be a small fortune just to ship a small amount to me, I figured there's got to be a better way.Hence extracts. This is the first and only brand of teaberry extract I have tried so far, and rather than make my own fresh I cream, I cheated. I bought some vanilla ice cream, melted it, and added the extract. It took the entire bottle for a half gallon of ice cream, but even so, it still tasted of vanilla.The bottle recommended a smaller amount than I used, and the flavor was a bit milder than I remember, but that may have been from the vanilla of the ice cream I used. The color came out faintly pink, not the deep blush color I recall either, but that just means that there is little to no artificial dyes included.Overall, it was a much less expensive way to bring back memories and have a treat, but not something I will make a habit of buying. I do plan on purchasing this again soon, but next time I think I'll be making my own ice cream with just this for flavoring.

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania and teaberry ice cream was my all time favorite flavor. But I have lived in Florida for 32 years so there's no place you can find such a flavor. This is very reminiscent of what I remember from years ago. Just added it to vanilla ice cream and a touch of milk and whippi up a shake. It was soooo yummy!!

My family loves Teaberry ice cream . It is hard to find near us so when we find a place that has it we indulge.This flavoring is very close to what we have gotten before.Not exactly the same but pretty close.

It is very tasty! Although not like the real thing, but that is hard to do. It’s a good fill in for those who miss the nostalgic taste of pennsylvania’s Classic tea berry ice cream treat. I recommend using a food processor to blend the flavor into the ice cream. Tasty!
