"Instruction quality"? What instruction?
Looks like a nice kit. I didn't use it, as the issue for me was the stator windings had come unsoldered. There was damage to the board as well. Thus, the pieces in the kit did not address this damage. I would have rebuilt it as a spare, but obtaining the pieces I needed made it more expensive than it was worth to do so.

This saved me.
I needed a F606 voltage regulator for my Expedition alternator, and I needed it fast. Fortunately, I found this, ordered it, and Amazon delivered it the next day. My alternator is working perfectly now.Please note: if your alternator uses a F601 regulator, then this kit will not work for you.

Easy and in expensive
YouTube videos are plentiful to learn how to do this repair. As for the product it saved me well over a hundred dollars and took only about half an hour.

Fits 2009 Ranger with the 2.3L
Fits 2009 Ranger with the 2.3L. Works well. Be warned, the slip rings on my alternator we're worn'ed down. Doesn't make a rebuild really worth as the kit does not include slip ring
