I looked in a lot of stores for a hydration pack. I refused to pay $50 for a pack with no storage. This one is perfect. Two zippers, one on each side, provide ample room for keys, phone, a small snack. Also outer bungee cord storage in a nice, neat compact backpack. I use mine for biking, and it really takes the worry out of losing items. If I had to say anything negative, I wish it had locking zippers. Otherwise, great value, great quality pack!

My only frustration - absolutely no instructions on care, washing etc. only used once but would like to know if I can put the water bladder in fridge or freezer. Would be helpful to have some directions on use

The bag is compact and cool and I like that the straw has a cap to keep the mouthpiece clean. However, there are some important features lacking. The backpack does not have a clip to hold down the straw, which is very long, so the straw is flapping around as you walk. Also of note, the straw does is not removeable from the bladder. Lastly, I had issues with leaking from the cap as well as at the base of the straw (where it inserts into the bag); I found out because the bottom of the backpack would be wet.

After numerous washes there is still a plastic taste from the bladder. And it fits very small. I wear a men's XL and it was very uncomfortable.

The black & red backpack part is perfect -- sturdy, made to last, strong zipper, comfortable around the shoulders, good design, right size. However! I repeatedly had issues with the little water pack that's supposed to make it easier to stay hydrated. It actually was more of a hassle than a help. I'm sure I didn't puncture it, because I was extra careful not to put something sharp next to it within the backpack. But somehow the round rim opening of the water-bottle piece, where you unscrew it like a bottle top, it leaks! Even if you're extra careful to screw it back tight. My whole back and butt got soaked at a concert because it started dripping big time for no apparent reason. I kinda regret buying it, if it weren't for how great the backpack part is.

Like the design. Works as advertised, the backpack quality is pretty decent for the price paid. Only critique there are two zippers for the opening for the back pocket, which makes it easy for other people to take things out, which is not necessarily a good thing at music festivals or raves where there are pickpockets. Also, the extra pocket is a bit small so you can't hold too much extra in the backpack. Overall, pretty satisfied with the purchase

I go to a ton of outdoor music festivals and it's so important to stay hydrated, especially out in the hot Texas sun. I've always wanted a hydration pack but the brands in stores are so expensive! I just couldn't handle paying $70!I was very excited to find this hydration pack and put it to the ultimate test! Right after I received it I came down with a nasty cold so I thought what better way to test the backpack and also get in my daily intake of water!I filled the bladder halfway with ice and filled it with water. I was actually surprised at how light the backpack felt! It's super easy to use and I was able to keep it with me all day. The bladder is very strong and it does not feel like it will tear or leak. The backpack is nice and has a separate compartment where you can place your wallet, keys and other small things. I like the bungee so I can carry a light jacket or beach towel.My one complaint is that the cap does not stay on the spout. There's nothing securing it and it just hangs and flops around. I'm trying to find a way to keep it on the spout. Any ideas?Overall I'm thrilled with this purchase and will get a ton of use out of it this summer. I highly recommend this pack to outdoor enthusiasts!I received a discount on this item but that does not alter my opinion. All feedback is based on my own experience with this product.

It's a gift for someone so it hasn't been used yet, but I Am certain he will love it. So when he receives it I will make sure to update my review. But from the looks of it, it looks well made and sturdy. I love the red and black color.
