Ultimate Yahtzee (Jewel Case) - PC

This CD-ROM comes in an attractive reddish and gold package, with complete and clear instructions. Installation is quick to get you started playing right away. The graphics are a little fuzzy, but are nice, with pleasant colors. The music is great, different tunes play depending on which version you are playing. The Classic version dice sound effects are closest to the actual sound of thrown dice, but the sound of dice shaking in the cup are the same in all variations. Scoring is a snap, as potential scoring sections are revealed in grayed-out numbers in their respective spots after you roll. All you need do is click in the desired section.Everyone will want to play the Classic version first. It has a nice, green felt area to toss your dice, scoring is just like regular Yahtzee. Triple Yahtzee was actually a game in stores, but was discontinued and lives on in this version. It has the best music, but takes longest to play. You must score in each of the 13 scoring sections 3 times! Painted Yahtzee is the most unusual, but is very fun. and just like its name implies, very colorful! Pyramid Yahtzee seems like a nod to D&D players (like me), using four-sided pyramid dice and different number combinations to roll for. Battle Yahtzee is my least favorite, but provides an interesting way of playing; knocking out your opponent's roll in hopes of improving your own score. This variation is geared mostly for two players or more. This collection of Yahtzee games provide an interesting selection for the Yahtzee fan and will appeal to a wide variety of tastes. It seems that Yahtzee fits in many aspects of gaming pleasures. Will a Yahtzee-themed casino program for PC/Mac be far behind? (Please!!!) If you love Yahtzee, you will love this CD-ROM.

Retro-ware. I have an old XP, off line, that I run some of this early stuff on. What a trip.

The game is small and dark on the screen. I like the games and it is totally playable. Just wish I could make it full screen.

I had the first Yahtzee that was close enough for this one to be good, too.It does get to be a pain having to toss the dice in that cup. But it plays fine.Came in perfect condition and on time.

Does not work on my computer at all

I have nothing against the game itself. People who can play it enjoy it. I didn't know it was just an old Windows 95 game. It wouldn't load on my wife's Windows 7 laptop. How many people would look for a game for that old of a platform?

This game is too small. We have tried and tried to get it to fill the page and it want. My wife and I like to play against each other and this is so small, it just doesn't work.

I love this game but I'm upset because I wasn't able to install it on any of my computers so I had to return it. But, if you can get it to install, definitely purchase from this seller.

game works well. Just as advertised

Didn't work on Windows 10 so had to return them and the dealer was great to work with for returns; if I was interested in more software I would look into what they have.

This game is too old for the cd to play on a computer built in THIS century. I purchased, paid for, waited patiently only for an unupdated version to arrive that WILL NOT, play on 64 bit systems. The manufacturer emailed me and said it was Amazons fault for not telling them what system my computer utilizes. DUUAAHHH give your heads a hard shake just for my and my prehistoric Yahtzee Game.

Great game; major nostalgia trip ensued after installing and playing it.
