What do you use?** A: Use 110# card stock (or heavier). Black, white, and charcoal gray are the dominant colors used on the West Coast. Be sure to only use TWO brass fasterners (no middle fastener). There are a few spots on the web you can check out, too. Google "submit screenplay" and you will find much advice AFTER all of Google Advertisements. ** Best wishes for your complete success. **Q: How many brass fasteners do you get? Do you get the washers too?** A: We get 100 in a box and we do not use the washers, our files are pre-punched on thick folders and this style of fastener rarely pulls through the hole even with over 2 inches of paper. **Q: Do you ship to India?** A: Sorry, no. Only continental United States. **Q: What brass size should I purchase if I want to bind a 95-120 page screenplay?** A: I bought the 1 1/4" for a 60 page screenplay. I'd go larger than that if you're binding a 120 page screenplay. Depends on the size of paper. Measure it and guestimate? ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐ Price increase of 101% in less than 1 year. *by on Reviewed in Canada 9 January 2024* This was once a glowing 5-star review. No issues with the quality or its durability. But the cost went up 101% since 2024. I've purchased this item 44 times in the last 2 years. December 2024 I Paid $26.91. December 6, 2025: $52.74. So long, ACCO. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Did the job *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 26 June 2021* Good product, did the job ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Why these are better than cheap supply store ones... *by on Reviewed in the United States 4 October 2013* Having purchased some generic brass fasteners (which were not what I'd consider cheap price wise) from OfficeMax, I was worried that perhaps these would be a similar inadequate product. Not so. These Acco are indeed a quality product. They feature a better quality of brass, not so thin as to be fragile, and with a significantly larger head that truly secures the paper without receding into the punched holes. It doesn't surprise me these are considered industry standard for screenplays. Are there other brands as good? Maybe... but these do the job and aren't too pricey. One can only hope the manufacturer doesn't start to skimp, as whoever makes the OfficeMax ones seems to have done. Those are useless, these are great. Maybe get yourself a few boxes just in case. Also the slightly shorter legs leave less excess once you bend them out, without being too short. ## Frequently Bought Together - ACCO Solid Brass Fasteners, 1 1/4 Inch Capacity, 100 Count, (A7071505) - ACCO Brass Washers, 15/32", Box of 100 (71511) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/275621998-acco-brands-solid-brass-fasteners-1-1-4-inch-capacity](https://www.desertcart.be/products/275621998-acco-brands-solid-brass-fasteners-1-1-4-inch-capacity) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
