I was hesitant to try this but after 4 years of pain and limited mobility, 5 MRIs, and countless PT sessions I tried it and sure enough, it does provide support. It makes my knee feel supported the way taping by a PT does. There are only 2 problems: 1. Im a woman and wearing this over my leggings or outfits is kind of a drag and 2. After wearing it, once it is removed my knee suddenly feels very unsupported. It's the same feeling as when the K tape comes off. I always describe it as Bambi learning to walk (unstable & unsure). But then again, my knee issues are pretty gnarly/complicated. I don't think most folks will feel like this. I love the band and I'm glad I have it for those days when the pain in my knee is preventing me from walking. A MUST try. My knee issues are grade 4 bone on bone, PFPS both knees, meniscus tear, tendonitis on one knee and Hoffa's syndrome on the other. Try it, you have nothing to lose except pain in your knees. I have used this product for years, but felt I no longer needed it. Recently, after many steps and and down stairs, I started noticing slight knee problems. I was happy to find this so easily on Amazon. I put it on in the morning and my knees seem much more stable and I feel no pain. I do HIGHLY recommend this product.

This is the absolute best knee support band ever. I wish I hadn't wasted money on purchasing other brands. It is more than comfortable to wear, and extremely simple to use. The fact that it comes in different sizes means you can get an excellent fit. I would recommend the Cho-Pat knee band to anyone with knee instability issues. You won't find a better one in my opinion.Weeks later, and I am more than happy with the Cho-Pat knee support band. It is so simple, but yet actually works to keep the knee stable. I live in the country, and am always walking on uneven ground. This simple strap keeps my knee in alignment. It's been like a miracle for me.

I have struggled with knee problems, apparently brought on by Osgood-Schlatters disease. Pain was not in the joint, but just below the kneecap on the front of my shin. My chiropractor finally suggested that It was the place where the tendon was attached that positioned the kneecap. He suggested that the Cho-Pat brace would gently position the tendon properly and should, over time, reduced the pain. You can imagine my surprise when the relief was nearly immediate, becoming noticeable after only two or three days. I am now wearing two, one on each knee, and find that the relief is very notable. I would recommend this to anyone who suffers similar problems. It is a low cost try and if the relief obtained is anything like mine, you will be very grateful

I measured under my knee s suggested. I have a 13 inch. This is the perfect size according to the description and it barely fits. Super tight. Wrong description.

I had one of these many years ago when I damaged a knee. It provided decent support - enough so that the knee hasn't bothered me for >25 years. Until now.I have been experiencing a feeling of imminent collapse in my knee lately and I went looking for the same support I used those many years ago. I found it and ordered this Cho-Pat support right away after measuring my knee as a Large.The support goes on very easily and is mostly very comfortable to wear. In fact, most of the time I forget is on! This support has reduced the "collapsing" feeling I have been experiencing, so we'll see how it goes.I have found that the 2 vecro sections need to be lined up to be most comfortable, and the tightness should leave enough room for a thumb to slide under.

This is a replacement product for me (after probably 5+ years). I first started using the Cho-pat knee strap when I was having IT band issues - it seems to keep the IT from rubbing. I now use it on most runs - feels like it stabilizes my old (65 yr old) knees that sometimes "catch". I don't run fast enough to have real issues, but I do credit the Cho-pat with helping to keep me on the roads and trails. I use it when hiking sometimes too.
