DDF Erase Eye Gel, 0.5 oz

Another DDF product that I loved but it isn’t available anymore.

Not what I expected, I would not rexommed

This eye gel works well at lightening dark circles it does not however do anything for fine lines or puffiness, but I use another cream for that. It is the best for bleaching the dark circles, and I mean bleaching because I can truly see the lightening. I thought it did not do anything because it did not address the fine lines or puffiness, but those are easier to remediate, the dark circles however are hard to eliminate, this truly does the job and it does sting a little, so use it every few days until your skin can handle it increasing use little by little. I use once daily and it truly works, consistency is light and it drys fairly quickly and does not cause makeup to flake or crumble. After the dark circles are gone you can maintain by using a few days a week or the underage will get too light.

I received a sample of this and loved it- felt it helped some minor under eye puffiness and dark circles (or at least gave illusion of it). I started researching it through the manufacturer because I didn't understand what it is supposed to do. It is labelled to moisturize, reduce dark circles and decrease puffiness. Imagine my surprise when the bottle came and it said on the side that it is to treat hyperpigmentation?? Instead of Rxxtras on bottle (as shown in photo) it says Treat. I don't have a hyperpigmentation and dark circles are not treated by the same products, so thoroughly confused.I love the way it feels though- it is a golden balm that glides unlike many eye creams that tug. I do feel my eyes look better using it under my makeup- whether it is temporary or not I don't know. For that I would give it a 4. As the bottle says it is for hyperpigmentation with a whole paragraph devoted to discussing lessening dark spots I don't have- I downgrade it to a 3. I really don't know if this is appropriate for my use, as the bottle is touting the product as so many things I don't know what it really does.I'll keep using it b/c I do like it and have never had any good results from eye creams before.***Update after using it awhile: still like it but still torn...it somehow fills out the hollows under the eyes. Don't know how, as it is not marketed for such. I read some reviews where people didn't like this saying when they smiled it caused more skin under it. I tested it by going off it 2 weeks and my undereye area went back to the way it was...so torn. I like the way it feels and it does seem to plump out and smooth the undereye area...just not sure how it is doing it.

I stopped using this product before, thinking it had miraculously cured me of dark circles. Well it is not a permanent cure, but it definitely works. You just have to continue to use it. I am fine with doing that and it is worth every penny.I have a newborn and I was not getting ANY sleep on top of the fact I have hereditary dark circles around my eyes. My beauty is very important to me, and just because I am a new mom DOES NOT mean that I have to look like one. I always get compliments on how good I look for just having a baby. This is one of my best staples in my beauty routine. No one can tell how tired I really am... and tired is an understatement.

I hate saying I hate things, so I gave this 2 stars because I like the packaging. :) I used this several years ago and liked it but I think they've changed the formula or my skin has become more sensitive. It stung, made my eyes more puffy and red! I have always thought DDF was mediocre-good and wanted to re-try it but won't be revisiting their products any time soon.

I swear by this product, I'm hoping to find more sellers of this particular eyecream b/c it actually works. Love it.
