A very impressive hand forged knife...
I’ve seen, handled and even own some very nice hand forged knives over the years. My neighbor was a world renowned blade smith and I know the skill and time required to create them. Of course, his knives cost in the thousands.I received this Toferner hand forged knife today. It’s one of the finest I’ve ever handled. For it being a large knife, it’s remarkably not heavy nor cumbersome to use when held in hand. The craftsmanship is excellent and it’s shave ready sharp. The handle is leather cord wrapped with a peened pommel. The design is very true to form of the classic Viking seax style. The scabbard is very sturdy and well constructed with unblemished leather. I had thought twice about the cost but now have no doubts about this solid investment. I’m very pleased with this purchase.

Bought this seax, # 1 and # 4, 2017 limited edition from Toferner and their not lying real and sharp careful not letter openers. Amazing craftsmanship leather wrapped handles, evenpommel is peened wow good stuff

Sturdy blade, nice historical recreation.
Very nice product, with historic look. Scabbard also well done. I thought this was good value for the price.
