The business end works fine but I don't love the listening end
So I pulled off the business end, and used it to replace an old one with better metal uses and ear pieces.

Great product for the price.
In the past I had only used Littman stethoscopes. My Littman broke at work so I had borrowed one of my co-worker's Sprague. I liked it so well that I ordered this Sprague for myself. I can't believe how well it works! I highly recommend this to everyone.

Labtron Sprague-Rappaport Stethoscope
I was given this stethoscope as a gift on 2 occasions: the first steth was black, but it got stolen; the 2nd one was pink, so that there was a decreased chance this would get stolen- hardly anyone buys pink. The acoustics on this steth are actually very good (even better considering the price). . Beleive it or not, I was able to hear murmurs just as well as the other standard highly priced "L" steths...so I was really surprised! However after about a year and a half of constant use (changing between bell and diaphragm to listen to heart/lung sounds) the head came loose from the tubing; so its likely that you'll have to buy another steth after a while. And a disadvantage I find with the double tubing is that it may sometimes rub together, so if you're listening to lung, you might mistake the tubes rubbing for creptitations. But overall, its a good buy(especially considering the price)!
