Clear plastic storage tubes with caps, One Inch diameter, One dozen

Bought these to store compressed towelette discs for camping and first aid kits. Works well for this purpose, although diameter is a bitter larger I than needed. Each one can hold 13 Wysi brand wipes (not sure if other brands are same size or not). I cut the insides of caps off as suggested to gain this capacity, they held 8 or 9 discs otherwise. Cuts cleanly with a sharp knife, just make sure to only cut the very end off (after the sealing rings). I cut the first one between the rings and it doesn’t maintain enough friction to stay closed, it’ll pop open out of the container if it is squeezed. This is not a problem with the ones where I changed the cut location.

These are good, though I don't understand why anyone went to the trouble of creating the 'plug' ends that eat up so much space in the container. I needed a compact way to store 1" round solid fuel tablets inside small camp stoves, and this was just the ticket. It was easy to trim the tube to the precise (shorter) lengths I needed with an X-acto knife. I ended up using 2 'caps' per tube, but I only needed three so no problem. They fit tightly enough that when sealed I couldn't smell the (considerable) stink the fuel tabs put off. But not so tight that I didn't feel better wrapping them in Saran Wrap to keep the stink in over months in my garage.Good product -- would be better if you throw away the 'plug' mold and just ship with all caps!

Excellent people to work with,I made an initial purchase of one dozen to test fit packaging custom pocket knives I produce.They worked perfect for my application with two plug type caps.When I needed more for the full production run they were happy to supply only the plug type as well as sending along extra plugs for the fist order.I hope to need their product in the future.

last week I wrote a review and only hit one star. It went out when I realized what I had done. So sorry. I love these tubes have reordered them 4 times. I am making Christmas gifts for some friends and the green caps are perfect for the season. If you want to give the makings for great hot chocolate you'll love these.

First, seeing through to what is inside is perfect. Next, it has useful dimensions, and is very light in weight. One use is in a pipe tobacco pouch. Simplicity at its best.

I use these to store small electrical components (resistors and leds mostly) and they make keeping everything sorted incredibly easy. Though i would probably go with smaller ones if i had to buy again.
